Caught up with Keisha Lance Bottoms today after her press conference, where she discussed topics ranging from Medicaid expansion and teacher salaries to the impact of data centers across Georgia.

I also asked what message she has for young voters and Black Americans as the race for governor continues. 🎥

One thing I’ve enjoyed about covering this election cycle is hearing directly from the people hoping to lead our state—and giving viewers the chance to hear from them too.

They said don’t worry.
They said “guardrails.”
They said customers would be protected.

And then they killed the one bilI that actually would have protected you!⚡

Let’s be clear about what just happened 👇
Georgia Power didnt want data centers paying their full costs.
So lawmakers made sure YOU would🫵
💸 Construction costs → you
💸 Fuel costs → you
💸 Debt → you

Meanwhile…
💼 Lawyers donate
💼 Commissioners approve
💼 Executives cash out
And 280,000 Georgia families got their power shut off in a single year.

That’s not policy.
That’s a system.
And voters are starting to catch on 👀

Seats are flippin
Momentum is building.
And some of the people behind this?
Yeah… they’re on the ballot.

Game on🙌

The Zeta Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. presents “13 Acts of Service”— an event of purpose, compassion, and community impact.

With 13 service stations, 13 ways we’re giving back, our members are personalizing items and care kits during the event to intentionally support the unique needs of different groups in our community—veterans, the elderly, individuals experiencing homelessness, families with children, the GSU community, and more. These donations provide essential items and resources that many may need or not always have access to.

Every moment guided by service and every effort a reminder that small actions can create lasting change!!! 😊

The work we’re doing today stands on the foundation the @NAACP built. On their 117th anniversary, we celebrate their leadership and their enduring fight for justice in Georgia and across this country.

Corporate America can be a lot to navigate, especially when you’re doing it while still figuring out who you are and what you want. Proud to join the Georgia State University NAACP x Collegiate 100 for The Black Student Survival Guide to Corporate America and share the stage with professionals who are doing impactful work.

Real conversations, real guidance, real connections.
