Thank you to everyone who participated in our 9th Annual Mixer this past Sunday. The energy and passion shared by the members, guests, and alumnus was very inspiring. Let’s continue to build camaraderie as men of color, by owning our reflections. The bottom line is: Who in your reflection are you feeding?

Mr. Alexander’s Team did not hold back in welcoming the new team on the block… the Norfolk Titans. The Titans, a recently forged team, faced off against the seasoned A-Team, which had a very good playoff run last year. In a 72-58 victory, the A-Team defeated the Titans and plan to make another great playoff run this season.

Pt 2 of how the drills we work on in training, translate to in game movements. At times we tend to get caught up on individual training and only focusing on what exercises makes you personally faster, jump higher and stronger. But basketball is the ultimate team game. You can still work on all of those individual things, but don’t neglect the part of doing team driven exercises, especially when you have to play on the defensive side of the court as well. These are the things I love exploring.

This how I spend all my money and time this summer. Thank you all for listening and helping me become a better coach this summer. Congratulations to my guys that graduated. I can’t put the words together to let them know how proud of them I am. It been a long ride. @yfn_.tonio I know you wanted your own post but foreal I’m going to really miss not seeing you every day and smh like this boy selfish. This all you get on this post lol.

So what can they say now? Last year we had the bigs. This year it’s a bunch of “no names” on the team (by the way if we are winning you should get to know their names right 🤔). I understand people want to talk so bad about the school, but the problem there is us as the adults. We have to be better for our kids. Kids only do what they’re allowed, but back on topic. This group of Titans work so hard and I’m so proud of them. Next up playoffs.
