We are proud to announce that OFFICE 24-7 ARCHITECTURE’s exhibition design work has been featured in several recent publications.

The Kgodumodumo Dinosaur Interpretation Centre was featured in Scape Coffee Table Edition Vol. 123. Our other exhibition, the Gianni Ravazotti Biodiversity Centre, was highlighted in House and Leisure’s Autumn Issue. The article includes the following quote from our director:
“To remain relevant, exhibitions cannot be confined to reflecting on the past; they must inspire visitors to imagine a better future. Museums should foster a sense of agency, allowing visitors to discover and form their own understanding. When a visitor is given agency, they can directly interact with the content. This is a deliberate design strategy to make the visitor an active participant.”

Our director, Nabeel Essa, was also featured in the Scape 100 Issue.

Lastly, Dinokana (2023), an artwork by MADEYOULOOK—featuring exhibition and structural design by OFFICE 24-7 ARCHITECTURE—was presented at the Structures Exhibition at the Johannesburg Contemporary Art Foundation (JCAF) and published in the JCAF Structures Reader. We extend our thanks to JCAF for including OFFICE 24-7 ARCHITECTURE in the publication.

GRBC Post 1 of 3: Shows elements of the Biodiversity exhibition room, including a life-size plywood giraffe and knobthorn tree; our interactive “Feathered Friends” display, including audio of bird calls; and the “Cycle of Life” and “March of the Mammals” exhibits, which include 1:1 3D-printed and painted reproductions of scat, as well as laser-engraved spoor and tread distances.
The Gianni Ravazzotti Biodiversity Centre is designed as an educational journey exploring the diverse Limpopo Province and the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. This unspoiled landscape conserves a rich variety of plants and animals and supports the local community, illustrating the vital connection between people and nature and the importance of maintaining balance.
The exhibition seamlessly integrates CAPS school syllabus components, making it an effective learning supplement for visiting schools. The fabrication and design process incorporated advanced technologies such as resin 3D printing, multi-planar laser cutting, LiDAR scanning, CNC cutting, and direct-to-substrate printing in order to achieve a distinctive three-dimensional and tactile quality.
This exhibition was designed and developed by Office 24-7 Architecture for the Lapalala Wilderness School with a dedicated exhibition team consisting of Nabeel Essa, Lauren Segal, Alexey Rodokanakis, Samke Kunene, Adriénne van den Heever, Jaco van den Heever, Renay Kneale, and Caela Wessels. Fabrication team: Digital Fabric and MGG. With the support of: Mashudu Makhokha, Bronwyn Maree, the Lapalala Wilderness School Board and the LWS Educators Team.

At the launch of the Scape 100..
100 Voices. 100 Icons. ‘broadening the lens to include the collaborators, cultural agents, and creative forces who give the architecture and design community its depth. This is not a retrospective. It is a snapshot of the now.’

Excited that director of @office247_architecture, Nabeel Essa has made the 2026 Scape 100 list!
“one hundred voices shaping the present tense of architecture and design—not simply the visible or obvious, but those rumbling at the periphery: the influential, the progressive. Architects, designers, studios, and thinkers whose work is redefining how we build, live, and imagine—some quietly, some boldly, but all with intent.”
