@ozaizhome was one of the few chosen brands to be part of the very first @harlemsfashionrow House in partnership with @culturecon The vibes, the energy, the guest list… unforgettable. To every single person who stopped by, shopped @ozaizhome or simply shared a kind word, thank you forever. You supported a small business that’s truly striving to make an impact, one intentional piece at a time. ✨

🫂🥰2 hours last week w/ this crew. 2 hours with these incredible mamas — @elisamamaofficial, @nabsandbabs, @shadesofpinck, @snoopnattynat — at @beauandro (where you can shop the collection) discussing what it really means to be a mother, a woman, and an entrepreneur trying to do it all. We talked balance (or the illusion of it) ⚖️, the mental load 🧠, the expectations to serve endlessly to everyone around us — and the truth: moms, whether we work full-time or not, carry the weight of the entire village in 2025 🏡. And many of us are doing it without one. This panel wasn’t just a conversation — it was healing and honest. We got raw, we got real, and we reminded each other that vulnerability is strength ✨. So here’s some takeaways that keep me grounded as a mama - and to remind you it’s ok to: • Set intentional time for you ⏳— even 1 hour to breathe, move, or just sit still. For me - it’s an hour workout class, even during the busiest week. • Say no when you need to. Your peace matters more than people-pleasing ❌ it hurts your peace more in the end. • Rest isn’t a reward — it’s ESSENTIAL! 🛌 • You can’t do it all, and that’s OK. Prioritize what truly matters ❤️ • It’s OK to be wrong. Your kids don’t need perfect moms — they need present ones. Apologize, grow, stay soft. Today and every day, remember this: You are human before you are a mother. You are allowed to feel, rest, mess up, and start again. To the mamas doing it without a blueprint, without their own mamas like myself, to those healing through loss (3 👼🏻miscarri@ges) waiting to become moms, to those closing or choosing life without kids, or redefining what motherhood looks like — you are seen, you are worthy, you are enough 🌷. 💃🏻Celebrating the launch of Megan’s stunning collab with @elisamamaofficial (can’t wait to wear it tomorrow for Mother’s Day!) — so proud! Cheers to the women we are, not just the roles we fill. Happy Mother’s Day y’all!🥰 #MoreThanAMom #ModernMotherhood #MomsInBusiness #MotherhoodUnfiltered #VillageMentality #MentalLoadIsReal #WorkingMamaLife #ImperfectlyPresent #YouAreEnough #MomPanel #MomCommunity #intentionalmotherhood #charlestonmamas #charlestoninfluencer

Mother’s Day is a time to honor the women who’ve shaped us—and it’s also a perfect reminder to support the communities that raised us, too. At BIJC, we believe that shopping Black-owned shouldn’t just be a moment—it should be a mindset, all year long. Whether you’re celebrating your mom, grandma, chosen mother, or yourself, jewelry makes a meaningful gift—and if we were shopping this Mother’s Day, we’d definitely be looking at these Black-owned brands that continue to inspire us with their craftsmanship, storytelling, and care. Tag your favorite Black-owned jewelry brand below or head to our Shop Black Owned directory (link in bio) to discover even more creators doing incredible work in our community.
