Soo…We almost reached the end of 2024..
It was probably the most challenging year I had in a long time.. in juli I lost my dearest Nona at the age of 103..The woman who raised and thought me and my sister the most important values of life. It was really a mental struggle for all of us. There were times when I faced challenges—moments of doubt, fear, and uncertainty. But at the end…I was never alone. my friends consistently stood by my side. They encouraged me to push through tough times and reminded me of my strengths when I couldn’t see them. And I can’t thank you all enough for that! ❤️ After a long silence of 2 years, @fireforceofficial reunited again. Which I thought that chapter was done forever. First interview after a long time! Making a new record, I can’t wait to share it with the world!
I’ve found a new home, and I can’t wait to move in soon!
These are just a small amount of pictures of many! But I just took my most favorite out as they are my most favorite moments of this year.
Last but not least..I am proud of how far I’ve come.
Here’s to friendship, growth, and the adventures that lie ahead!
One love.

Costa Rica is a officially a wrap. And what an awesome trip it was, with the best company imaginable. ❤️
.
Our last stop, before dropping of our car in San Jose was La Fortuna. Known for the Arenal volcano and hot springs. We spend four days in this, again, little town.
.
To end the trip the main focus was one more hike, relaxing and tasting more Costa Rican craft beer. Which brought our total of local beers to 39. 🍻
.
And yes, as you can tell from the first picture, the water was hot. Hot springs are naturally heated by geothermal heat from the nearby volcano. As the water comes into contact with very hot rock heated by magma.
.
Anyway... Costa Rica and ticos, everything I heard beforehand was true. You are beautiful, lush, green, hospitable, friendly and warm hearted. Stay that way and we will meet again.

One of the things we absolutely wanted to do, was hiking in Cloud Forest in Monteverde. Which meant driving up the mountains, curvy unpaved roads, high up in the sky.
.
From Dominical it was a 4 hour and a half drive. With temperatures dropping from 30°C to a freezing 17°C. Cloudy and rainy days. Belgian style.
.
The town Monteverde itself was small and cosy, WITH A BREWERY, so overall pretty perfect. Also did a coffee, chocolate and sugar cane tour. Thanks Rollo!
.
But the main thing, the hike... was unforgettable... what a unique place on earth.

Not many words needed. Pure nightmare material. But also some cute poisonous frogs.
.
One of the things you have to do while in Costa Rica is a guided night tour. We were super lucky with our guides Umberto and Enrique from Santa Lucia Falls. Learned a lot, slept less the night after...
.
Pura Vida amigos. I will never forget this experience!

After the jungle, it was time to get a tan (sunburn) for our beach bodies. So next stop, Uvita.
.
A small beach town next to the Marino Ballena National Park. Where you can find the mind-blowing Whale Tail Beach. A natural phenomenon where, during low tide, the ocean meets you from two sides.
.
Back in town, we watched one of the most hilarious football games ever. They lost the ball in the woods, and the goalkeeper had to go and find it, a barefooted ref, average age 50,...
.
Once kicked out of town for hooliganism, we drove to Dominical. On our way to, we made a short pitstop for a swim in one of Costa Ricas many natural pools.
.
Dominical itself is an even smaller beach town that is famous for its waves and surfing. And the Fuego Brewery 🍻
