BILOU AT ON HUMAN BAND FESTIVAL ON OCTOBER SATURDAY 17th ! Bilou (Dricot) is a Belgian musician, visual artist, and director. They started their career as a photographer before moving on to directing music videos for several years (Flavien Berger, Etienne Daho...). During the lockdown, they began exploring music production and singing. They create their own music videos and offer a live experience surrounded by visuals, blending the lines between a concert and a danceable cinema. They were discovered opening for Flavien Berger on several dates in 2023. #concert #bruxelles bruxelles #goodfood

Achter de tralies van de tijd Some projects feel particularly meaningful to be part of. This was definitely one of them. What does it mean to grow old, become ill, and spend the final years of your life behind bars? Stijn Geenen’s documentary offers a deeply human look at the lives of elderly prisoners in Belgium, raising important questions about dignity, care and compassion. I’m grateful to have contributed the music to this powerful and socially relevant film. A very special experience was collaborating on the title song with the wonderful Guido Belcanto. A true grand monsieur and an absolute honour to work with! Big thanks to Stijn Geenen, editor Tom Meersman, Dimitri Verbeek and everyone at Caviar and Lompvis for their trust and the inspiring collaboration.

The original soundtrack for VITAL is out now! The series premiered last week to great ratings, and I’m really happy to finally share the music. Beyond the medical drama, VITAL tells a very human story about healthcare professionals trying to do their best under enormous pressure, within an increasingly underfunded healthcare system. A subject that feels particularly relevant today. Musically, I wanted to explore that human side of the story — the vulnerability, the tension, and the moments of hope beneath it all. Working with directors Gary Seghers and Julien Henri was a wonderful experience, built on trust, openness and creative freedom. Exactly the kind of collaboration you hope for as a composer. Grateful to have been part of this project, and happy that the music can now have a life of its own. Listen on your favourite streaming platform.
