On the 4th of January, I invited a few friends to celebrate differently. I spent the day with the children at the New Kuchingoro IDP Camp in Abuja a place that has become home to many whose lives have been altered by the unfortunate hand of insecurity and the unexpected turns of life. Normally, I would keep moments like this private. But this time, I decided to share, hoping to inspire someone out there. Because love should not be seasonal. Kindness should not be occasional. And compassion should not be selective. There are many IDP camps across our nation, filled with resilient individuals who deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered. As much as I can, within my capacity, I have made a personal commitment to gradually visit and show love in the ways I know how hoping that even the smallest act of kindness can spark something greater. Kindness to one is kindness to all. When we show up for others, we strengthen humanity itself. May this encourage someone, somewhere, to extend love in whatever way they can. Because sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is simply showing that we care. I am deeply grateful to my friends and family who continue to show up, consistently and wholeheartedly. Thank you, Endurance, Nafy, Omolola, and Beauty, for standing with me and coming through with so much love and support. Your presence means more than words can express. I truly appreciate you all. ❤️#inspire #kindness #idp #humanityfirst #nigeria
