CHRISTMAS IN BOSTON!

10+ music videos/visuals for the project, and a whole lot more clips! 85 artists, 64 songs, 25 days. Nearly 500k views all organic. It was truly a magic time, and there were a lot of gems. Here are some standout moments and visual pieces that I gathered! It was truly fun, and a great challenge/exercise because there was no time to overthink anything, simple concepts, executed, uploaded!

I wanted to recap this project because this is what I attribute my “Music Videographer of the Year” nomination to. It was truly a privilege to document and create with this incredibly talented music scene, much of which is overlooked and under appreciated… but we’re changing that!🤞🏻

Please vote “Michael Flynn” for the Boston Music Awards Videographer of the Year. Link in bio. (You don’t have to vote in the other categories btw).

Regardless of any external validation, these clips capture some days that I will forever cherish and hold close.

Salute @risestudiosboston
Love you @mattyowens

huge shoutout and thank you to the incredibly talented @shanedylxn for trusting me with this story and giving me the time to really capture what made one night in boston so special 🧡🎹 i feel incredibly grateful and blessed to have witnessed this night in person and even more honored to be able to write about it. it.

to every artist who stepped onto that stage: your talent speaks for itself but what stayed with me just as much was the community you’ve all built around it. so many different sounds, backgrounds and creative visions existing in the same room, supporting one another and continuing to push each other forward. it was an honor to witness that kind of talent and community in one place and to have the opportunity to tell a small part of those stories. it’s really special @notebook.p @kaealayah @jhestarworld @11uminaria @thisisnahli @itsmirandarae @therealseefour @sirclarkd 💖

the other artists mentioned in the article can be found here @nicsnation_ @kobk617 @pronouncedlucas @tashawntaylor_ 💫

to the incredible band who tied the whole night together: @shanedylxn @shabazz321 @komai.wav @nai.kalbin @trevonsullenmusic @jborsellinomusic 🥁🎷

big love to @childish.rayvino for setting the tone and filling the room with so much energy before the show even started and @drippydrizz for bringing that infectious energy to the floor 🕺✨

a massive thank you to @joakeem.gaston for capturing this night so beautifully 📸

and a very special thank you to @putinworktv @robputsinwork @paulwillisishiphop 🏆 having people who believe in your work, push you to make it better, and trust you to tell stories that matter is something i never take for granted. i’m so grateful to have you both in my corner and to be able to create with you. forever grateful for the support, the guidance and the opportunity to keep growing ❤️‍🔥✨

Another wonderful Thursdays @ Ashmont in the books!
A huge thank you to @fortyworldwide for filling Peabody Square with incredible music (and to our own @unnoaaron for joining them on violin 🎻), and to @americanprovisions for keeping everyone well-fed with delicious sandwiches and pasta salads.
Week by week, we’re watching Ashmont become a place where neighbors linger, meet new people, enjoy local talent, and support local businesses—and we’re just getting started.
If you haven’t joined us yet, you’ve got to check it out!

🌳A Day In The Park

📍Live in Boston, Massachusetts

➡️This week has been truly awarding! I didn’t know how musically inclined this city is. This is also my first time performing with a band. @touchedbycookie inspired me to start playing flute at a sound bath during @bluelledesigns event “Still Waters” last year. To be at the point playing flute live with a band has always been a goal. Yesterday I overstood the language between speaking with my band mates @fortyworldwide . Thank you all for inspiring me and pushing me this week. Truly have a lot gratitude!

⭐️This Saturday we have an event with @transporterbos yall pull up if your in the area! We plan on showing out!

🥁Drums: @nai.kalbin
🎸Guitar: @komai.wav
