Welcome to a day in our life, apartment hunting!

After SEVEN years in Jerusalem it is finally time to move north, a dream of mine for years already. I am craving a more relaxed lifestyle, nature, coffee carts, and exploring a new part of this country I love to call home. I grew up on an island of 300 people and city life has never really been for me. I think I only lasted in Jerusalem this long because even though it’s a big city it has a nice small town vibe to it where everyone seems to know everyone.

Of course, now that @nails_eas is back I had to get a fresh set and these little 🍋 lemons 🍋 she drew me are stunning.

We ended our day celebrating two close friends birthdays and one of the celebrations was a dinner at @luciana_italian_house which I had never been to! It’s located in Mamilla and they have a full gluten free menu. I originally wanted the pizza but the waiter actually warned me he didn’t think it was worth ordering. He said to get pasta instead because it’s much better and WOW I truly didn’t believe it was gluten free. 10/10 highly recommend the gluten free Salmon pasta!

When it came to wedding planning, I knew I wanted to support as many local female small businesses as possible on our big day.

Here are a few of the incredible ladies who made our day so special:
1. Our stunning ketubah was made by @rachelleinwater. We have been friends for years, and as soon as we met, I knew I was going to have her make my ketubah one day. We are in love with our Eucalyptus Ketubah.
2. If you know me, you know I basically only wear @whitepetal.store . Getting to work with Diana to redesign an old broken strand of pearls my Bubby had gotten me as a kid for my wedding jewelry was so special.
3. @vitalitybyrachel saved me in the lead-up to the big day. During the relaxation massage and acupuncture she was able to pinpoint exactly which areas of my body needed the most help, and I couldn’t have made it through the wedding process without her.
4. @tzipmizflowers made my sunflower dreams come to life! I was so obsessed with my wedding bouquet, and we still have flowers in our apartment that are alive!
5. I would never trust anyone with my hair other than @brachahair. She was really able to capture the exact messy glam look I was hoping for. And it didn’t fall out at all.
6. @makeupby.shosh, what can I say? You are truly one of the greatest people around, and your kind and supportive personality made my wedding morning so much more fun. And the makeup? It was truly perfect.
7. @nails_eas has been doing my nails for over 3 years at this point and has never once let me down. She is truly an artist, and her nails never chip!
8. @labelitgifts made the most stunning mellavot gifts. We worked together to personalize them in a way that felt authentic to me and my mellavot. I absolutely loved getting to spoil them.
9. Last but most certainly not least, @itsmichalkaye. Thank you for helping us find the perfect venue for our needs, talking me through every moment of stress, and helping us have our dream wedding on a budget that no one thought was possible.
