Even though we had a few hiccups (not getting to the park in time for stay and scream, losing my phone, and getting yelled at) I had the best time at #hhn with my honey and our buds!

When I heard that there would be a Hellraiser maze this year, I knew I wanted to make some kind of Pinhead-ish outfit, but bearable in the heat. I found this really lightweight and breathable rayon challis from my textile fabrics on Etsy, and I kind of Frankenstein-ed two patterns together. I used the sleeves and keyhole neckline finish from @kianabonollo's witchy sheath dress, and @bexthefemme's pake muu pattern for the main front and back panels. I edited the collar a bit so that I could have a back zipper instead of a side zipper, and I'm happy with how it came out. I *love* this dress, and this will be a great spooky season addition to the wardrobe!

My favorite house of the night probably had to be Hellraiser, followed by HR Bloodengutz and Sinners. The scare zones were awesome too, and I got to see Santa Art the Clown riding around on a tricycle lol. I can't wait to come back in October with my besties!

Also s/o to @nailsbybecccc for the absolutely killer witchy girl nails!

Lee and I celebrated our anniversary a bit late this year, but man was this trip worth waiting for. We saw some of our favorite people, drank some killer cocktails, ate delicious food, and we got to check out Epic Universe for the first time!

I didn't intend to literally match the hotel we were staying at, but this celestial cotton voile was on sale at @moodfabrics and thought it would be a good fit for the #harlowdress by @stitchwitchpatterns. I ended up making different sleeves than what the pattern called for, because I thought a wider bell sleeve would have more of a whimsical Stevie Nicks vibe to it. My mom had a pattern for a sleeve similar to what I was going for, so I kind of used that as a reference to create the sleeves I wanted. I think next time I make these sleeves, I'll adjust the width, elastic placement, and length, because this time around I got a little carried away with making them extra dramatic haha. I love the tie front detail, and I love my matching astrology nails too! This is definitely a pattern I plan on making again.

Sorry not sorry this is a holga account now 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 I've been back on my bullshit with this little toy camera! I finally got the remote shutter cable attachment working, so of course, I had to try a star trail 💫

Haven't been posting here as much cause life has been so busy but with the best kind of busy.

🎞 shot on 400D & the film was gifted from my bestie @kriskameron_ (she enables my holga habits 🤓)
