And just like that, I’ve entered my 33rd year on earth.

Started the early celebration (because hello, you celebrate the whole season and month, not just the day) with a birth chart reading, getting my nails done, a SoulCycle birthday ride on my actual birthday, last-minute dinner, and another SoulCycle ride because a special guest happened to be in town.

Happy Libra season to all my Libra friends!! ♎️

Dinner with S 🥰

The cutest birthday card from the restaurant 🎂

@catryce.sutson happened to be in town, so I took her to a @roxysaraviaa class.

Me: *struggling to take the mirror selfie*
@roxysaraviaa: “do you want me to take it?”
Me: “yes please 😭” 🤣

lil day in the life recap as a new educator leading my first set of workshops for By En x @mellow.edit 🥹💅🏼 it was an expansive experience for me to say the least and I feel like I’ve been actively growing as a nail tech every day since leading these two lovely groups of aspiring and professional techs. hearing back from some of you directly about how helpful and fun the workshops were was the cherry on top 🍒 I’m superrrrr excited about what I’m cookin up for the future of frisky mariska…if you want to follow along as I embrace this new stage as an educator gimme a follow @friskymariska.levelup 🎯

up and at em early to get the hair and makeup (and mindset) riiiight

choosing a fit, and most importantly the shoes, ofc doggo helped

day one I went for the prada mules to make me feel powerful, day two I opted for the grommet sling backs

breakfast of champions!!!! I don’t always go big with a bacon egg n cheese but you better believe I always want to

car into the city bc I’m bad like that this week (and for the sake of the toes in these heels)

and worth it for this view, um helllo

I set up my station and took my time to get into the zone 🎤📽️ and this is when I was starting to get a litttttle nervous

but venue was beautiful and the @mellow.edit team did such a great job setting the scene

and by day 2 I was locked in 🔒

everyone who attended was super attentive and asked great questions…

and I found myself really enjoying this new outlet for me as a nail tech 🥹

after the demo I kiki’d with all the participants and we yapped all things nails while demo-ing products together — truly my favorite thing to do

to no surprise everyone was really loving the By En gel system and I got to meet so many new faces in the nail community

a moment for the lunch spread 👀

and then it was time for shopping 🛍️🛍️

so cool to see my nail art on display to show off the full range of products and possibilities

closed the day with a cute glass of bubbles and left with old and new nail tech besties in tow 💞

to have a cute rooftop debrief

and cheers with my nail girls💞

A little learning, a little nail art, and plenty of connection 💅

NAILCON joined the By En Japanese Gel Nail Workshop at @mellowbarnyc, led by Katy @friskymariska, for a hands-on look at the By En Gel System!

Live demos, guided practice, and application tips gave nail pros and beginners room to experiment, ask questions, and connect.
