I graduated nail school last week 💅 💖

I'm continuously grateful for my wonderful classmates and my amazing teacher @nailsporium for encouraging and guiding me through those days where I felt discouraged.
I would not have made it through the trials and tribulations of nail school without this amazing group of talented nail techs!!

My biggest takeaway from this experience is that there is always SO much to learn. Being able to push through the days where you feel defeated is an insanely valuable skill in this industry I feel like I now possess.

My next steps are licensing and working towards getting this business up and running, stay tuned💖

To my beautiful classmates, watching everyone grow and succeed on this journey has been such an amazing and rewarding experience. The crashouts have been so worth it to get to this point and I am so proud and thankful to have done this with all of you 🥹

To the absolute QUEEN herself, Ms. Nina this experience would’ve been nothing without you. The time, hard-work, dedication, and love that you poured into every single one of us has not gone unnoticed or under appreciated. The love you have for this industry is such an inspiration. Thank you for picking us up when things got hard and ALWAYS having our backs no matter what. You are truly an amazing person 🫶🏻

After years of not knowing what I wanted to do or who I wanted to be I finally found my place 🥹 The biggest shoutout goes to my amazing boyfriend Jim, I would’ve never had the courage or confidence to start this journey without you. From pushing me to do this, to helping me study, and for helping me make my dream come true ❤️

October 2023: I quit my salon home & went solo, best & hardest decision I've ever made. I was booked out for months in advance & gaining clients that still sit in my chair 3 years later, every 2-3 weeks.
But, busy seasons can't exist without slow seasons.

January 2026: I quit my full time job & went all in with nails. I started school & quickly realized I wasn't there to learn nails. I learned patience, I learned kindness, I learned empathy, I learned womanhood. And I learned that no matter what, it truly is the people around you that matter.

July 2026: We're not stopping anytime soon.

To my educator, I cannot thank you enough for teaching me confidence, resilience & faith. You are an amazing woman & I cherish every conversation we've had. Thank you for filling my cup even when yours wasn't full @nailsporium 🤎

To all 12 of my girly pops, thank you! You showed me love in so many ways when you didn't have to.

My village showed up & showed out everytime I needed anything & even when I was too prideful to ask, my family was there with all the answers.

Last but surely not least, to my clients... I could never thank you enough for all you've done for me. You're the sole reason I can do this. I will forever be grateful for all the beautiful women who sit in my chair. You da $*!# bbygirl!

As always, glory to God & thank you!! ✨

finally, after 4.5 months of blood, sweat, & tears… we made it.

what a journey it has been. there were days i wanted to give up, days i felt completely lost, days i questioned if i was good enough, and days i was honestly scared of failing. but somehow, i kept showing up.

the biggest reason i made it through was because of the incredible women i got to experience this journey with. i will forever be grateful for each and every one of them.

to the girls: thank you for the laughs, the encouragement, the support, and for reminding me that i wasn’t alone. meeting such strong, independent, intelligent, and beautiful women is something i’ll always cherish.

and a huge thank you to miss nina. you taught me so much more than just nails. you taught me to believe in myself, to be confident in my work, and to never give up, even when i doubted myself. your patience, encouragement, and belief in me made such a difference, and i’ll carry those lessons with me far beyond the classroom. i’ll always be grateful for everything you’ve done for me and the girls.

if there’s one piece of advice i could give, it’s this: do it scared. do it tired. do it sad. do it mad. just do it. keep showing up, because one day you’ll look back and realize you were capable of so much more than you ever believed.

(and don’t let the pedicure bowls overflow lol)

this chapter may be over, but everything we learned, every challenge we overcame, and every friendship we made will stay with us forever. i’m so proud of all of us, and i can’t wait to see where this journey takes everyone next. 💗
