Happy Galentine’s! Last week, we gathered for an intimate celebration with Karina Fontes at designer Rachel Loren’s home studio—an evening centered around creativity, connection, and women supporting women. Guests were invited to design their own Safety Pins using a materials station built from years of sourcing and development. Chain scraps, pearls, and stones—reborn into something personal.

Wine was generously sponsored by @jumbotimewines with caviar service by @thetrufflecartel and sweet treats by @matissecraves

A night of making, sipping, and celebrating love in all forms—but especially the kind shared between women. The kind that builds confidence, inspires creativity, and reminds us how powerful community can be.

To everyone who joined us: thank you. We loved seeing each Safety Pin come to life, and we’re endlessly grateful for the women who continue to show up, create, and celebrate with us.

Happy Pride, y’all! x
One thing that occupies my mind a lot is food, not just the next meal I’ll get or which restaurant I’ll visit next, but the psychology, social, and historical meaning of it. Food is a medium for expression for individuals, families, and nations, and I asked myself if it is the same for the queer community too?
Growing up in a conservative country, I was not exposed to much of local queer history until a few years ago when I found that a person dear to my heart used to own a cafe back in 2000s, a place where everyone was welcomed (Badass behaviour!!).Then I spent 6 months living in the historically iconic Ni-chome, in Tokyo. So as you can see, my knowledge of relations between food and queer history was quite limited, and as I was trying to satisfy my need for information, I stumbled across an article in one of my favorite food magazines @food52 called “13 Powerful Stories to Celebrate Pride Month,” with a collection of stories that will make you cry, laugh, and hungry.
One of them, called “When I came out to my parents, kimchi fried rice held us together,” I giggled and sobbed all the way through the essay, but most importantly, it solidified my already strong belief that food is a cross-cultural bridge that brings all of us together to the same table. May food and this month be glorious as fuck for you.
Happy pride month ❤️

Huge thank you for another hot photo of me to incredible Marie Lourier @marie_lourier

Dose -
