I’ve got some big plans for next year, and will definitely be cosplaying more! Till then; I’ll be chillin with all the memories and living through all of these videos again 🥹❤️

@animeexpo Day 1 (at least for me)! I was con crunching on Thursday, so my first day was actually on Friday. With it being my first AX, I had no idea what to expect as I only been to a few cons before. But once I walked in; I legit felt like I was Home! I got to take pictures with Colombina and Flins, and a whole bunch of other people that I can’t even fit into this carousel. Meeting some old friends and making some new ones is always such a special moment, especially when we get to bond over something as cool as anime. Of course, I had to cosplay as my boy, Skull Kid! And I think it all turned out pretty well, considering that I made this about a week and a half before the con 😅

I got about two more days of continent I need to post, but this was honestly one of the biggest highlights from the entire event!

I wish I was in my Mavuika Cosplay, but it was such a a real moment to be able to share some tea with the moon goddess herself!

THIS CITLALI WAS INCREDIBLE!!!

This is probably the shortest line out of the entire convention lol

If VALORANT ever has a crossover, I pray to God that it’s some sort of legend of Zelda crossover

Literally no words except: holy shit

WE LOVE BEAUTIFUL TALL WOMAN!!!

Iykyk

We even got a chance to watch some of the Chinese cosplayers do some really cool stuff!

I ALSO FOUND THIS GEM!! 🥹🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥

And more beautiful woman 🥹🥹

Pacific skies fest - Jmdez Recap 🐦‍🔥

Awhile back I got the insane opportunity to be a part of the media crew for a sold out 3 day illenium fest in Hawaii.
I got to work with some of the most talented film makers on the island and together we made an absolute banger docu-style recap.

After all was said and done, I knew I wanted to create something with my footage and have that for me… I got started on it but quickly just hit a wall. I got in my head about it not being good enough, not having enough shots, not being happy with it, etc. I ended up holding on it on an old drive for a longgggg time … I know a lot of creatives go through this but this was the one project I really didn’t want to delete.. I knew there was something here but I just couldn’t get myself to work on it because I was so in my head about it being bad.

Flash forward to this week- after attending a festival at the gorge I got home and all I thought about was this edit. I sat on my computer and within 2 nights this edit came back to life.

I can’t explain how good it felt to get a spark of creativity and create something on my own terms. To be inspired by life and even a year later accomplish something that I really wanted to do.

This edit has 0 value to anyone right now but it means everything to me. It gave me a crazy spark to continue to do what I love, to pursue opportunities and to get back in an industry that intimidates me but makes me feel the most alive.

As the summer fills up with weddings, events, real estate and corporate work, I really hope to squeeze in some of these projects again.

Thanks for reading my rant and I hope you enjoyed my lil video 🕺🏽😌
