When you’ve had a student-teacher relationship for as long as us, you have to work hard to keep things interesting🤪
I do it by throwing curveballs their way, and they respond by rising to the occasion.

Not every woman beginning or coming back to dance in her 40s has to stay within what’s familiar.
You don’t have to limit yourself to “easy” Bollywood routines because of age.
You can learn technique.
You can build musicality.
You can train your body to move in new ways.
You can surprise yourself.

These two women are in their 40s, dancing QBOP—not because it came naturally, but because they were willing to learn.

Age doesn’t decide what you’re capable of.
The decision to begin does.
