🎥“The opposite of war isn’t peace, it’s creation!”🎥

The musical of Rent and I have a long history together. It was one of the very first musicals I have ever been obsessed with. I remember coming home every single day in middle school for a year and watching the movie on repeat for hours on end. I used to watch in awe and dream that one day I’d get the chance to be a part in telling Jonathan Larson’s story. Almost ten years later, that dream came true. This show was everything to me. Especially getting the chance to make not only my first professional debut as a dancer, but also the chance to understudy and perform as my all time dream role, Mark Cohen. Words cannot describe how much I have loved all the friends I’ve gained, all the laughs shared, all the tears shed, and all the memories we have made together. I’ll forever miss this show, but will always “Remember The Love”

So proud of our BFA Acting majors involved in Pegasus PlayLab’s Between Shadows and Lightness 🌟🎭 Between Shadows and Lightness is a devised theatre project that brings together artists with and without disabilities to explore mental health through personal stories, visual art, and collaborative performance. Congratulations to Naje’ Gillespie and Jonathan Sommervil on helping bring this meaningful new work to life as part of this year’s festival! Break legs this weekend! 💙✨
