When I was a little girl, I used to lock myself in my room and chant spells to change my life. I’d replay scenes from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, wish on every shooting star, and beg the moon to give me real magic.

It wasn’t until I got older that I finally realized the true source of magic is in the act of believing in myself.

At 32, I can say with the utmost humility, that I have gotten everything I’ve wanted up to this point (albeit, it showed up in ways I never imagined and realllly put me through the ringer to achieve it), even a coven.

And maybe it was the rituals I practiced with my coven, or my love for the mental health field, or the courage I gathered after finally embracing parts of myself I’d locked away, or watching others believe in themselves, or all of the above that finally prompted my ability to take the plunge and start my non profit - Mana Grove - after spending years imagining, and planning, I did it.

I want to build a space where people can heal to the point of finally recognizing their dreams and truly seeing tangible changes in themselves. A place where holistic practice meets science, in a safe setting.

And though I’m likely some ways away from fully building out that space, I’m grateful to have found community partners to host events that encompass different versions of healing.

And in two weeks, I’ll be hosting my second event - The Queer Mystic, where we’ll practice energy work and explore somatic practices to release pent up energy and call in a future we desire, all alongside horses.

So, if you’re interested in doing some real magic and practicing the act of healing, grab your ticket for The Queer Mystic at ManaGrove.org/events

We can dress up like a witch any day, but if we’re not actively believing in ourselves it doesn’t matter how much we wish for something, it’ll never come true.

I found my coven, now I’m ready to help you find yours

Where do I even begin? 🍂 What an incredible weekend hosting @paravelleevents immersive dark fantasy evening, Briarwood Festival, at the @briarrosewinery. I’ve always loved a murder mystery and bringing this magical evening together with @legendofsachi over the better part of the last year has been a lot of work but with so much reward.

Thank you for everyone who attended, investigated, interacted, quested, danced, sang, and took part in the hilariously wonderful shenanigans that unfolded. Our goal was for nearly everyone to come away with a unique experience based on what you saw, heard, who you spoke to, and the day you attended (as our endings were completely different each night!) ✨

Thank you to our many vendors who attended, and of course, it couldn’t have happened without our extraordinary cast and crew. A million thank yous to all of you for your commitment to the bit ⚔️

Thank you to @chotronette for the incredible dress. I felt truly 😈🔥

I can’t wait to share what more we have in store… 💫

PS I tried to tag everyone who makes an appearance in this post but apparently IG limits to only 20 tags 🫠

Here to haunt you in your dreams, fight your fears, and tease your inner demon out of you all night long in the enchanted wood🥀🪽🖤This demon twink carried a secret all night long and only 1 mortal of the night got it out of him 😈

Labyrinth was in full feared demon form!

A celebratory birthday evening for our demon of honor and fantastical host @najvas0l, surrounded by her favorite mischievous woodland fae, enchanting spirits, creepy and charismatic crows, creatures, fellow demons alike, and mortals looking for their lost loved one. I’m so glad I got to celebrate my fellow demon all night long! 😈✨

I can not turn off my creative mind. It’s fulfilling to create the things I’ve been imagining my hole life. Although I wish I could sleep.

31 ✨ Last night I got to do my favorite thing while welcoming a new year around the sun. Make art I’m deeply connected to, be bold, and take risks in the stories I shared, all with a handful of my loved ones all in the same room with me🦋🥹 And for that, I feel really lucky already this new year. Thank you for all the sweet messages I woke up to today!

THROWBACK to this core memory of my first time hanging out with my Dispatch family. Had such a phenomenal and fun time with everyone and I’m so grateful for the friendships and love we fostered between each other both during and after the shoot.

Bringing this back cause we won first place for the @theadhocstudio Cosplay Contest!! So much work and love was put into this project, especially from @crystalsfantasy and @aliand_cosplay who we wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without.

These first two photos were taken by the late and great @becomeaprime who sadly we lost recently this past week. I loved him like a brother and his impact will always be felt by each and every single one of us in our little cosplay family. May the Force be with you brother.❤️❤️❤️

I will always love Dispatch for allowing me to meet who I now call family 💙🧡❤️

🏆 WE WON FIRST PLACE AHHHHH

This feels so unreal and I couldn't be more proud to have our team's work be celebrated. The Golem puppet, Robert's computer, Coupe's wings, full body paint- everyone put in so much effort to make these characters and this world come to life.

This was my first shoot that I produced, and BOY did it come with some hiccups 🫩 Pivoting to different set locations like a week beforehand and several people dropping out of the project less than 24 hours before the shoot (due to being sick or personal reasons) doesn't even BEGIN to cover all the variables that were being thrown at us.

But I wouldn't trade this 20-person (and 1 very good dog) project for the world. My beautiful director Ali stuck with me through all the ups and downs 🙏 This team made a 12-hour shoot day go by fast, and people who were virtually strangers that I DM'd became instantaneous friends. So many memories made, so many animal facts shared- this is an experience that I'll always cherish <3

Please check out @theadhocstudio's full article on their website and look at all the winners' work!

(Also shout-out to @sollycos for styling my Invisigal wig! Would not be Visi without you boo 😘)
