It’s National Women’s Small Business Month, and we’re celebrating the spaces dreamt up and run by women that hold our community together. If you haven’t yet met them, our 2025 Grant Winners, Madeline Harn (@nakedfigsoap), Liz Ann Hewett (@everythingetched), Dr. Lindsey Sandys (@koapediatrictherapy ), and Diamond Quinones (@cruizinforabrewzin ) are all incredible expamples of the ladies who keep the show going! Women own approx. 45% of small businesses in Arizona and we celebrate the women who started them and the teams and neighbors who show up beside them. At State Forty Eight Foundation, we’re grateful to cheer them on this month and every day✨

Sometimes a scent brings back a memory you didn’t realize you missed. A favorite trip. The trees in your grandmother’s yard. A place that still feels like home. 🤍 Meet Madeline Harn, the person behind Naked Fig Soap, whose work begins with a thoughtful question: how will this make someone feel? With a background in psychology and fine art, Madeline brings curiosity, creativity, and care to the everyday ritual of stepping into the shower. Hearing that her soaps have become part of someone’s routine—and something they return for—is a connection she deeply treasures. That’s what we love about Meet the Maker: getting to know the heart behind the brand. The reasons they started, the lessons they’ve learned, and the little moments that make their work worthwhile. Madeline, thank you for sharing your story and being part of our Scottsdale Spa Collab + Esti Collab community. We’re so happy we get to celebrate you and watch your vision grow, one scent story at a time. Swipe to get to know Madeline, then tell us: what scent always takes you back to somewhere you love?
