Another look inside my new studio and showroom in Mexico City.

One of the main ideas behind the space was to bring together the different sides of my practice. A domestic showroom where the pieces can be experienced in a more intimate setting, a design studio where ideas take shape, and a workshop dedicated to prototyping and assembling the pieces.

Each area has its own purpose and character, but they all connect to create a space where designing, making and exhibiting coexist naturally.

Durante @designweekmex , nos tomamos Design House y diferentes espacios creados por creativos locales para celebrar el placer de habitar.

A closer look at my new studio and showroom in Mexico City, located within the historic Edificio Humboldt.

Developed together with @nama___studio , the space brings together the different sides of my practice, from designing and prototyping to displaying the finished pieces.

Dark stained wood, textured plaster, deep blue panels and brass details define the space, while curved architectural panels and translucent fiberglass doors create a softer rhythm and connect the different areas of the studio. Objects, prototypes, materials and references throughout the space also reveal part of the process behind my work.

The studio opened earlier this year with the presentation of the Salina Collection together with @agoprojects

My new studio and showroom.

The space, conceptualized by @nama___studio , took shape through a close collaboration, bringing together his interior design vision with my own design language.

Through this dialogue between practices, we created an atmosphere that connects the materiality palette and character of the space with the expression and details of my work.
