POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Great morning touring @relativityspace with NAMI Long Beach’s Ops Director (and my friend!) @galpal_sal and Board President Rosemary Danon, among others. I have never seen an aerospace facility (1 billion square feet!) so this was truly mind-blowing. Relativity is number 4 in the world for reusable rockets (SpaceX is currently number 1). Seeing the Terran 2 rocket they are working to launch next, the many 3D printers doing their thing (amazing!), and seeing everything that goes on in this massive operation was truly impressive. 😮

Beyond that, seeing the great work environment the nearly 2,000 employees are provided made an impact on me. Props to CEO Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google) and the rest of Relativity’s Leadership team for prioritizing employee wellbeing, good work culture, and work-life balance. 👏 Camp Relativity outside even has its own Pickleball court! There’s also all the coffee and kombucha you can get, unlimited snacks, and the vending machines that deliver dishes like Eggplant Parmesan and gourmet Mac & Cheese.🍝 Sign me up, please!

💚 Living with depression and anxiety can mean fighting battles that others know nothing about. From battling negative thoughts to getting through the hardest days, every step forward matters.
You deserve to give yourself grace, recognize your strength, and be proud of yourself for continuing to try—even when life feels overwhelming.
If you’re struggling, please remember that you are not alone. Your story matters, and so do you. 💚
Read my latest blog post, Living with Depression: Be Proud of the Battles No One Sees, for a reminder of the strength you carry every day.

💚Your best doesn’t have to look the same every day. And that’s okay.
Living with depression can make even the simplest everyday tasks feel overwhelming. Sometimes, we set expectations for ourselves and then feel guilty or disappointed when we don’t accomplish everything we planned.
But what if we changed the way we look at accomplishments?
Maybe doing your best today means taking a walk, washing a dish, making a phone call, or simply getting out of bed. These things might seem small to someone else, but they count. What matters is the effort you make, not whether you meet someone else’s expectations.
In my latest blog post, I explore why doing our best looks different on different days, how we can be kinder to ourselves, and why even the smallest steps matter when we’re living with depression.
Remember, you don’t have to accomplish something big to be proud of yourself. Your best is enough. 💚

After 40 years of living with depression, I’m learning that depression may be part of my story, but it doesn’t have to define me. 💜
In my latest blog post, I share a personal letter to depression, reflecting on the struggles, the support, and the tools that have helped me find my strength and reclaim my desire to live.
✨ It’s time for me to lead the dance.
