To the skies!
I've never been off the ground in anything other than an airplane, so I was really excited to have the opportunity to jump in a hot air balloon for a morning amongst Namibia's sand dunes. While not cheap it was a phenomenal experience and something I won't forget in a hurry.

We lifted off before the sun had come up, so got to enjoy the first rays of light across this epic landscape. The most interesting images I captured though included the other balloons that were in the sky with us (2 others) which gives the whole place a surreal sense of scale.

Behind the scenes Vlog 🎈 a couple shoot in a hot air balloon- yep my first time in one and shooting it! (Turns out there’s not tons of blogs online with much tips on how so here’s mine!)

My wonderful couple Daniela and Bilal’s started their elopement wedding morning with a sunrise hot air balloon ride with the incredible @namibsky

(I can’t recommend this company enough)

It really was one of the most exhilarating shoots I’ve done, it challenged me to work in a confined space, with a moving balloon, the light changing at every turn and what they call in the hot air balloon world “a sports landing”.
