The NAMI walk aims to promote mental health awareness and let people know they are not alone. Our goal in participating was to make ourselves known in the community, so individuals, families, and potential patient referral sources alike are aware that HOPE IS HERE!

This weekend, we participated in the NAMI Walk hosted by @namipbc at John Prince Memorial Park in Lake Worth, FL to promote mental health awareness, support advocacy, and come together as a community.

Over 800 people were in attendance and together, we can continue to break the stigma, encourage meaningful conversations, and remind everyone that support, hope, and healing are possible. 💚

“Mental health matters. Community matters. And no one should ever have to face their struggles alone.”

Today, we were honored to volunteer and walk alongside our Palm Beach County community in support of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

NAMI is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health conditions through education, advocacy, support groups, and community resources. Their work helps break the stigma surrounding mental health while reminding people that help is available, recovery is possible, and hope is powerful.

At Next Level Wellness & Behavioral Health, we believe meaningful change happens when communities come together, conversations begin, and compassion turns into action.

Together, we walk for awareness, we stand for those who are struggling, and we advocate for a future where mental health is treated with the dignity and understanding it deserves.

Today, on #WorldMentalHealthDay and the #UnitedDayofHope, I’m reminded why this work has always been so close to my heart. Serving as Honorary Vice President of @boo2bullying and a @namipbc Walks Ambassador has given me the privilege of turning some of my most difficult experiences into purpose. And if even one person feels a little less alone because of it, then every vulnerable moment has meant something.

I used to live on a hamster wheel, constantly trying to do more, “be more”, and make everyone around me happy. Somewhere along the way, I confused doing more with being more. But life has taught me that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply stop. Be still. Be here. Because presence is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves and one another.

I’ve known anxiety so intimately it felt like a second skin. Through it all, I’ve come to understand that feeling so deeply was never my weakness. It was my gift. One that continues to shape the way I love, listen, and show up as a wife, daughter, sister, friend, artist and ally.

I’ve always believed vulnerability is a superpower. Not because sharing our struggles is easy, but because it takes courage to let others see the parts of ourselves we’re still learning to understand. We all carry something. We all fight battles the world knows nothing about. And sometimes, the simple act of telling our truth gives someone else permission to tell theirs. That’s how we break the silence, begin the difficult conversations, and remind one another that none of us was ever meant to carry it all alone.

At the end of the day, we are all just walking each other home. And perhaps the greatest thing we can offer along the way isn’t an answer, a solution, or even the perfect words, but the quiet reassurance that someone is willing to walk beside us.

So, if you haven’t felt truly seen, heard, or understood today, I hope these words find their way to you.

I see you. You matter. You are not alone. And I am walking beside you.💚
