Most days I’m covered in dog hair, holding clippers, and working behind a grooming table. In 29 days, I’ll be trading my smock for gowns and representing Indiana at NAM Nationals!! One of the coolest parts of this journey has been getting to represent a profession that you don’t see talked about very often in the pageant world. Dog grooming is such a huge part of my life and something I’m really proud of, so getting to bring that part of me to the national stage means a lot. I may not have the most typical pageant-girl job, but I think that’s what makes it even more fun. 🐾👑 Piper’s Crown Countdown: Day 29 ✨ #namnationals26 #nationalamericanmiss

IT'S HALLOWEEN SEASON!! 🎃 Halloween is easily my favorite holiday. The classic horror movies (shoutout to the best franchise, Scream), carving pumpkins, and the insane makeup and costumes are some reasons I love the day. Last night, my family and I went to a local Halloween Lights and Decorations event, and it was SO COOL! Giant spiders, mermaid skeletons, a family dinner, witches, horses, and dinosaurs were everywhere. Seeing how much effort went into such a special event was the best part, and I am so glad I had the chance to stop by!! (P.S. there's a hint to one of my rehearsal outfits in here. What could it be?? 🤷‍♀️) {Tags} #NationalAmericanMiss #Halloween #Lights #Decorations #October @iam_thepageantpowerhouse @nationalamericanmiss @thenamteen @namteamwilliams @iam_savannah_may @missmichiganpageant @amandamorenoconsulting @eskewconsulting

A little girl-to-girl advice, courtesy of my senior portrait era. 🤍 I got to spend an afternoon playing dress-up, feeling like a princess, laughing with @brittanylinkphotography and even running in six inches and a long gown. 😂 Senior year is already giving me so many memories I wish I could bottle up, and this is definitely one of them! A HUGE thank you to Brittany for making this experience so special and for being an incredible sponsor for National American Miss Nationals. Having people who believe in me and support the things I love means more than I can say. And girls, take the pictures. All of them. Even the ones where your hair isn’t cooperating. You’ll be glad you did. 🫶 💄 @glamstyln 👗 @sherrihill #NationalAmericanMiss #NAMNationals #GrowingConfidence #SeniorPortraits

🍋👑 When life gives you lemons… turn them into a little more literacy, a little more kindness, and a LOT more love! 📚💛 Meet Laken’s Lemonade! 🍋✨ As your 2026 National American Miss Ohio Princess, Laken believes that you’re never too little to make a BIG difference! 💕 What started with a simple lemonade stand has become something much sweeter: a mission to spread the joy of reading, one book at a time! 📖 Through Laken’s Lemonade, contributions help purchase books to stock our community’s Little Free Libraries, giving children and families the opportunity to discover new stories, explore their imaginations, and fall in love with reading. 📚🌈 Because to Laken, a book is more than just pages. It’s an adventure waiting to happen, a dream waiting to grow, and an opportunity for a child to discover just how BIG their future can be! 🌟 At just seven years old, she’s learning that leadership isn’t about how big you are, but how big of an impact you’re willing to make. 💛 🍋 One lemonade. 📚 One book. 💕 One little act of kindness at a time. That’s how we turn something sour into something SWEET! We’d love to know: What was YOUR favorite book growing up? Drop it in the comments! Maybe it’ll be the next story Laken adds to a Little Free Library! 📖👇 With love, Laken’s Mom 💛 Proudly sharing her journey as your NAM Ohio Princess #NAMOhioPrincess #NationalAmericanMiss #NAMNation #LittleFreeLibrary #SmallHandsBigImpact

🥹🩵 Before I became a voice for others, I was a little girl trying to find my own. Two years ago, I recorded my very first speech about bullying. I remember this day so clearly. I was still hurting from what I had experienced. I was being homeschooled because I no longer felt safe at school, and talking about what happened to me wasn’t easy. I cried more than once before I could even record this speech. 💔 Listen to how little my voice sounded. I was nervous, emotional, and still trying to understand why something like this had happened to me. But even then, I knew I wanted to make a difference. I didn’t have all the answers. I didn’t know where this journey would take me. I just knew that I didn’t want another kid to feel the way I had felt. That little girl had no idea how many doors her voice would open or how many people her story would reach. Today, I’m still doing the work. I’m still speaking up. I’m still learning, growing, and turning something that hurt me into something that can help others. And when I look back at this video, I’m proud of that little girl for finding the courage to speak, even when her voice was shaking. My voice may sound different now, but my mission hasn’t changed. 🩵 Take bullying by the horns! 🐂 #takebullyingbythehorns #PiperMadisonSmith #MyFirstSpeech #stopbullyingnow #AntiBullyingAdvocate FindYourVoice FromPainToPurpose BeAnUpstander
