It’s been a while since we advertised our stuff on the gram… bc we’re just publishing too many stories to keep up! Scroll for some highlights, including: the Chinese Lantern Festival, Ortlieb’s $1 show series, chicken cooked in beef fat, Philly pigeon tours and a Sun Ra show. All these articles are free online at Midbrow.org/tag/philadelphia

Introducing a new monthly series:
Tilted presents music for neighbors.
Each month join us on a Wednesday at @ortliebsphilly for a $1 show!
Happy to provide a cheap show where diy fans can get together and watch local bands. I hope for this to create an atmosphere where bands feel comfortable experimenting new ideas, playing new songs, or trying things they might not at a typical show. Hoping to also give a space for new bands to play a low pressure first gig. Very excited to see how this grows. Planning to add vinyl DJs to this series as well.
There will also be tip jars for the bands and $5 gets you in AND a copy of Tilted Zine.
Very hyped for the first lineup @nancy____strong_ @curse_reverser & @nadafingerband
Thanks to @4333collective & @ortliebsphilly for making this possible.
