Channel all your feelings into change. ⁣
⁣
Some of us will use our voice to protest, others will use our voice to create legislative change or other actions, and together we will address this problem of racism and violence in our world. ⁣
⁣
“Can’t we all get along?”⁣
⁣
I’ve been thinking a lot about Rodney King this week. Rodney King has a prominent memory in my early childhood. ⁣
⁣
He was the first person I remember being a victim to police brutality. I grew up in South Gate, CA and I remember seeing the National Guard in my neighborhood during the LA riots. ⁣
⁣
Now as an adult, I feel sad reflecting on where we are today and what has changed. Nothing. It seems nothing has changed. ⁣
⁣
I’ve turned to close friends who work in the legal and policy field to figure out how I can help make some tangible change to racism in our country. It seems like for now I will focus on writing to my local officials. ⁣
⁣
I think we should all reflect on how we will contribute and help make the world a safer place. #blacklivesmatter #wecanalldomore #makeitpersonal #donttalkaroundit #itwillbeuncomfortableatfirst ⁣#talkpolitics #itspersonal #domore #listenmore #domorethanpostaboutit ⁣

My favorite highlight from the @lamarathon was spotting and running towards @lewishowes along the course! 🎉🤩 ⠀
⠀
This all happened along mile 18 of the 26 mile course. ⠀
⠀
I was having a major fan moment, but was also a little scatter brained 🤪because I had so much adrenaline 🏃🏻‍♀️and felt so excited to meet him! 🥳⠀
⠀
I’ve talked about the School of Greatness podcast before, but in case you didn’t know...I’m a huge, HUGE, fan of The School of Greatness podcast and this brief encounter/pep talk totally made my day! ⠀
⠀
🎙 Lewis’s podcast is amazing! ⠀
⠀
He explores what makes people great and how to tap into your full potential. I love the topics he covers such as business, creativity, relationships and mindset. ⠀
⠀
I ran away and then thought, “Omg I forgot to mention this and that.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ ⠀
⠀
Do you have a favorite podcast host you’d love to meet? I’d love to know who that is and why you enjoy their podcast. ✨👇🏼

NEW VIDEO—I have a new video tutorial on YouTube that shows you how to make your photos more beautiful with doodles and a dreamy aesthetic. 📹⁣
⁣
In this video, I’ll show you my favorite apps that have magic brushes that help you doodle over your pictures. 👩🏻‍🎨⁣
⁣
These apps come with colorful filters and are filled with rainbows and colorful overlays so you can create images with flowers, stars, moons, angel wings and even mermaid tails. 🌈✨🧜🏼‍♀️⁣

Trying to find a running rhythm in a chaotic moment in my life has been overwhelming. I almost forgot the most important part, sisterhood.✨ This weekend was monumental, I am so proud of my tribe. My heart grew about three times bigger today. So. Much. Love. 💛🦄 #blacklistla #runlista #runnerbraids #marathonszn #roadtoventura #laceuprunning #teamnuun

It 👏🏽 Takes 👏🏽 A 👏🏽 Village. My pack today was incredible. Today was such a great run!! I am so proud of how everyone worked together and pushed thru. From the front line, to our ridiculously generous water station volunteers, yo, y’all filled my heart to the brim.👏🏽 Issa team! “No Matter What Happens, I’m Coming With You.” 💯 Thank you for allowing me to lead you on these runs.
