Thank you to a great group of volunteers and our road warriors Nancy Glass Gygi and Dion Steedley Nixon, 7 more Florida dogs went to Paws Humane in Columbus, GA as part of our Urgent Transport program. 2 dogs from Clay County and 3 from Duval County were pulled by Pit Sisters to keep them safe. The last 2 dogs were tied up and left behind in the hurricane when their owner evacuated. Dion rescued them, and although we were unable to get the authorities to pursue charges, the owner voluntarily signed the dogs over when he returned. All these dogs will now have a second chance thanks to Bobbi Yeo and the wonderful staff at Paws Humane. Thank you! #floridaurgentrescue #adoptdontshop #floridaurgenttransport #roadwarriors #furvolunteers #furfamily #furlife #rescueismyfavoritebreed #pawshumane
