It's never too late for a championship post!

As underdogs in a new league, we had a tough start—even questioning whether we’d make the playoffs. Somehow, the team pulled it together and finished as the first seed in the group stage!

We made a statement in our playoff quarterfinal match against New Era FC with a dominant 4-0 victory. Then we faced the reigning champions in a thrilling game that ended 2-2 at full time, sending us into penalties. Our hero in goal, Héctor Berrío, saved two penalties before Gabriel Rocha sealed our place in the final.

At the very end, the final awaited us against the only undefeated team—also the team that had conceded the fewest goals all season. In a tough back-and-forth battle, we finished 1-1 after extra time, once again heading to penalties. This time, Héctor Berrío saved three penalty shots and then stepped up himself to take the final kick, giving us the victory!

True to our spirit, we became champions in our first attempt, just like when we earned our first star in the Central Florida Soccer League.

With this title, Bateria FC adds its third star by becoming champions of the 4 Corners League—a league known for being competitive, fun, and fiery all at once. The hard work of the guys paid off, and we lifted the trophy again, this time in the league’s 10th edition.

I cannot explain how grateful I am to have such a dedicated group of players who understand our project and wear our jersey with pride. Without them, Bateria FC wouldn’t exist. Thank you to every single one of our players for believing in us.

To all of our supporters—we thank you for everything! Your love for this team means the world to us.

Now, as we join the UPSL for the very first time, we aim only for greatness. We remain humble, but we know what we’re capable of. At the same time, we’ll fight to defend our title. With the help of our newest members, can Bateria FC go back-to-back? Only time will tell.

Either way, it will always be:

¡VAMOS BATERIA CARAJO! 🩷🏆💪🏼⚽️
