Daydreaming about sunny days again soon... 🌸

“In his writings, Proust suggests that our memory is separate from us, residing in the ocean breeze or the smells of early autumn, things linked to the earth that recur periodically, confirming the permanence of mankind.

For me and no doubt many of my contemporaries, memories are associated with ephemeral things such as a fashionable belt or a summer hit and therefore the act of remembering can do nothing to reaffirm my sense of identity or continuity. It can only confirm the fragmented nature of my life and the belief that I belong to history...”

Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli

Self portrait

They were just “little” dreams.
Just words, he said. The whole universe, she said.
To her. Words meant the world.

Dreams never end, they just turn into something else, they evolve, every time, they both are in them, walking on them. The slow moving fog falling from the mountains, no need to talk, just walk them.

I took this first photo 9 years ago, just before I moved to Paris. I had very short hair and big dreams. Back then, I was dreaming of things that now make me so happy and are my reality today. Gratitude. These past 9 years have been the best of my life. 🖤

That young girl left everything behind to move to a new continent, a new country/ies, a new language, a new culture, and a new life. I’m extremely lucky to have amazing people around me. I’m deeply grateful that I have made every decision in my life guided by the love in my heart. Dream, dream higher, dreamer.✨🌸✨🥀

Daydreams 🖤🌊

The ocean and I
The safety
The feeling of being a stranger
The sunsets.
The sunlight through the hair. Min solstråle
The freshness
His smile. The blue
The depth. The sadness. The emptiness
I close my eyes.
And the music plays and it brings me back to that moment crossing the bridge. As a background scene of this movie…

The desert in their eyes.
The coldness in their touch.
The magic in their voice. ✨
