I’ve spent this weekend grieving over the loss of a man I have never met, who did not know I exist, but who has shaped my entire life the last eleven years. jL is synonymous with shiny nylon, endless cups of coffee, boundless amounts of (caffeine-induced) energy, and an endless amount of design talent of the shiny stretchy kind. Since discovering black milk, I’ve been hooked. After purchasing my first pieces, I quickly discovered the facebook groups, and joined as many as I could find. To my delight, I discovered an Irish Sharkie group, and having joined that found out there were meetups in Dublin every so often. Whenever they happened, I hopped on the train and headed off for a day of fun and fashion talk, and friendship making, many of which I still consider my friends today <3 Black Milk has featured in all my favourite memories since then. Meeting and making friends, getting engaged, doing all my favourite things, taking part in black milk challenges like Pic A Day May. It also gave me the confidence to be the nerdy little dork that I am, and to rock that proudly, and not be ashamed or try to hide it away. I never feel more myself than I do when wearing shiny nylon, especially from some of the licenced collections like Harry Potter, Dr Who, Pokemon and Stranger Things, or some of the amazing Halloween pieces, or my beautiful custom snuggle suit. If I didn’t have black milk and its community, I would be very lonely because everyone I talk to on a daily basis is in some way connected to black milk! It truly changed my life for the better and saved it in more ways than one. And I’m so grateful that a man had a vision for shiny leggings and carried it through to being what it is today. He was a true visionary, and the world is a darker place now that he’s not here any longer. The boys enjoyed a fun few hours in @brewdogdublinop at the launch of @petmania_ireland ‘Operation Transpawmation’ yesterday.

They got to meet some very wise people who had so much knowledge on nutrition, psychology, behaviour, training & pampering ❣️
