Tripoli Gallery is pleased to announce “Holy Mary” a group exhibition featuring Katherine Bradford, Katherine Bernhardt, Ann Craven, Salvita De Corte, Sally Egbert, Lola Montes, Sabra Moon Elliot, Naomi Samara, Pat Steir, Mary Weatherford, and Lucy Winton.

Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, August 8th, from 7-9pm.

In Holy Mary the content directors are the sacred beings and artists themselves named in this exhibition. Through their paintings we are given access to a truth, love, and honesty, that while being about their own personal narratives, together they act as perfect talismans for us to use to further understand our own. An exhibition that follows “Big Baby Jesus” which opened in Miami last December and “Paper Thin” which opened in Bali last May, the exploration of in place narratives continues.

Rumah Hujan’s ‘Artists in Residence’ initiative is a documentation and celebration of Bali, featuring a selection of international and local creatives.

Rumah Hujan estate is a serene jungle hideaway surrounded by abundant nature with views across the river Wos and Campuhan ridge. The estate provides all-day service allowing for both privacy and complete relaxation. The two 3-bedroom pool villas can be rented individually or together as the entire estate.

It’s a joy to aprechiate a growing collection of art around the estate, gifted by various creatives from the Rumah Hujan Artist in Residence program. Our curator Erika has a brilliant sensibility and eye for both local and international talent. These tranquil water colors was from one of our first artists, Naomi Smara. 🤍🤍🤍
Grateful.

Beautiful days last year celebrating the greatest man on earth @gazfitzgerald and his legend wife, my sister @citrafitzgerald. Special to revisit that week.

Things I did/found/affirmed when I finally had the time during Eid break:

1. Mend and redyed some of my cherished pieces.

2. Cleaned out 50GB of my phone storage. Learned where breadcrumbs of data are stored.

3. Finished 4 books I started at the beginning of the year. Started 4 more.

4. Reconstructive surgery for a tiger, a washed-out burger, a seal, a boba, Captain America, a one-eared bunny, and an eggplant. By order of my fur babies.

5. Redecorated my room/study.

6. Watched TayTay' Eras concert to prep for TTPD and she is still my reigning queen.

7. Sony waterproof headphones from my swimming days, full of 80s, 90s, and Noughties bangers. I can also brag that I make killer playlists.
