One Naomi sits with pen in hand drawing heroes of all kinds. Another artist, Naomi completes a helmet to honor her son. Staff Sergeant Rory Weiser, z”l, fell in battle at the age of 21 on October 7, 2023. He is remembered for his warm smile, strong character and natural leadership. The helmet centers on the single tree, the symbol of the Golani Brigade. Its roots form a heart, representing courage, love and dedication. Hidden in the branches are personal symbols that tell more about Roey. A smile that makes life grow, reflects Roey’s spirit and ability to uplift others. Thank you @nweiser1 , Shani Weiser, Deena Feifer, and Sharon Feifer for being a part of the #helmets4chayalim project. #idf Thank you @naomiygal for coming into my life and for picking up your pen tonight. @remember.roey.weiser @naomiygal @heroesforisraelproject @haganah_museum

This book is a collection of faces.
Each one belongs to a person who was killed at the Nova music festival on October 7.

They came to dance, to celebrate, to feel free.
They came with friends, with love for music, with hope and joy.
This book does not try to explain what happened, or to make sense of it.
It simply insists on remembering who they were.

Through hand drawn portraits, this work returns individuality to lives that were taken too soon. It is an act of presence, of care, and of refusal to let names and faces disappear into numbers or headlines.

This book is offered as a space to pause.
To look.
To remember.
And to honor each life with dignity.
