Marathoner.

In March, I set a goal to run a marathon. No plan, no structure just a fire in me that said: this is something I need to do. Then life happened. Everything in my personal world fell apart. I lost sight of who I was and found myself in survival mode.

But when June came, I started to feel like me again. My light came back. My energy. My confidence. I got back on track, stacked my miles, and realized this training was no longer just about race day. It became a run toward healing, growth, and new beginnings.

This wasn’t about the medal, it was a quiet rebellion. A bold refusal to be defined by what tried to break me. An unapologetic celebration of everything I was and becoming. I wasn’t running to escape. I was running to reclaim my power and remind myself that I never truly lost it. 🤍

Thank you to my family @jjyufit21 @cyndyyurob @shihan_124 , this was my first time training for a competition without you physically there. Every early morning and late night reminded me just how deeply your love anchors me. To @vannah_fra and @napiniwaani , my on-course angels, your energy, presence, snacks, and support carried me through more miles than you know. And to @augmentwekivasprings , thank you for being my recovery sanctuary, a steady space of peace and safety. 🫂

First marathon in the books and I’m still overwhelmed with gratitude, humility, and love. My highest training run was at 78 feet. On race day, I started at 6,000 feet. I’m still trying to piece together what I just did… but for now, I’ll bask in the emotions and high. 🥹
