We have so much love for our local community 👏

Some of us at PULSE attended the Olive Hour charity event benefiting Special Olympics Arkansas last night! 💪

We believe building a stronger community can look like a lot of things. This includes supporting other organizations making a difference across Arkansas and helping to support some amazing local athletes.🥇

We met some new folks who support what we’re doing and look forward to supporting each other’s mutual community impact. 🤝

We’re not just here to build a network. We’re here to build community. 💜

Cheers to a great evening and an even greater cause… now I gotta get back to organizing my pile of auction item winnings! 🫒🍸

Huge shoutout to my dawg Josh with the team at @little.rock.recovery ! PULSE hooked him up with supplies including RiVive to do his real deal street outreach and peer work. Another example making a difference in your community! Its an honor to be able to work alongside him serving all of our most vulnerable neighbors that have been failed by the system time & time again.

People like Josh are a constant reminder that it’s not just about meeting people where they’re at, but bringing them up with you, so we can grow together. We love to see it!

PULSE was very happy to keep him supplied with RiVive for a couple of engagement events & trainings he has in the coming days! We love to see the hard work of a true champion of health equity in the state of Arkansas! 💪

The squad at UALR is doing student and campus wellness right! 🫡

We dropped into the @ualrwellness office (in the middle of “Movement Monday” 🏃‍♂️, so… needless to say… we had to catch up a bit😚💨) to drop off more naloxone today. We’ve been providing their naloxone supply for the last few months and even with hundreds of doses we have given to them this year, they’re distributing it out to their students in need just as quick as we can get it to them. Love to see it 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

Also, we gave them the entire first series of PULSE safety cards! They’re in the Student Services Center! Check em out! 👀

We are stoked to continue our work with this awesome team that’s promoting unity, life, safety, and education to the students and staff of @ualr ! 👨‍🎓 💪 🧠

On this #savealifeday The PULSE Initiative would like to shoutout our partners and friends at UALR Student Wellness & Belonging for continuing to prioritize overdose preparedness and the health of their campus community. They’re continually doing amazing work for the UALR student body.💪

Earlier this summer, their team reached out to PULSE looking for a reliable source of naloxone for UALR students, staff, and campus spaces. 📝 Since then, we’ve supplied hundreds of doses of naloxone, including 240 doses in August and another 240 doses delivered TODAY. 📍

Had to keep ‘em plugged in with that RiVive! 🔌 Our number one tool for maintaining nalxone saturation throughout Central Arkansas & beyond this year 📆

Beyond just providing resources, we are building community. 🤝

PULSE is committed to helping fill
gaps in access like these and making sure our community partners have the tools⚒️ , education 🧠, and resources⛑️they need to respond to an overdose. The health, safety, and knowledge of everyone at UALR is very important to us and we are honored to be able to support that. 👏

And today’s delivery included something new 👀 our first batch of PULSE Field Guide educational cards, designed to put practical, easy-to-understand public health and safety information directly into people’s hands. We have a whole series available soon! Pick them up in the Student Services Center! I can’t wait for everyone to see the entire first series! ♠️

HAPPY SAVE A LIFE DAY, EVERYONE ✌️🤪

650+ doses of naloxone. Hundreds of test strips. Hundreds of people trained. One incredible day of community. 💜

Food Truck Fest was a HUGE day for overdose prevention, education, and connection and none of it would have been possible without our amazing volunteers!!

Our Chapter Presidents, social work interns, and volunteers showed up ready to work, learn, teach, and connect with our community. Hundreds of people stopped by our table to learn how to recognize and respond to an overdose, leaving with not only lifesaving supplies, but the knowledge and confidence to use them.

We also had the opportunity to partner with Wolfe Street Foundation to serve up mocktails throughout the festival! 🍹💜 We loved being able to highlight fun, alcohol-free options while supporting a community where people in recovery can feel included and celebrated.

Volunteer-powered work is what makes days like this possible. From training community members and distributing supplies to answering questions, making connections, and keeping everything running, our volunteers showed up in a BIG way.

When hundreds more people know how to respond to an overdose, hundreds more people are prepared to save a life.

Thank you to our Chapter Presidents, interns, volunteers, Wolfe Street Foundation, and everyone who stopped by to learn with us. 💜

From Harm to Table 2026 is officially in the books! Thank you for helping us sell out the event and raise more than $13,000 for grassroots overdose prevention efforts.

It was a night about bringing the community together around a table to celebrate our fellow Arkansans of diverse backgrounds who deserve dignity, compassion, equity, and radical acceptance.

We introduced two of the newest leaders helping PULSE grow beyond Central Arkansas: Kodie Brown (@kodie.brown), Hot Springs Chapter Lead, and Lorelei Lewis (@armedwithestrogen), Fort Smith Chapter Lead. They led their first Naloxone demonstration, because wherever PULSE gathers, we want you leaving better prepared to save a life.

We also had the privilege of recognizing some extraordinary partners who helped build up and advocate for The PULSE Initiative:

🏆 Community Partner of the Year — Mandy Davis, Providence Park (@providenceparkhomes)
For opening doors, connecting us with partners, and our work when it mattered most.

🏆 Volunteer of the Year — Jose Hernandez, Dedicated Arts Studio (@dedicated_visual_art_studio)
For sharing his talent with PULSE and creating the 7th street PULSE / Naloxone mural that has become part of our identity.

🏆 Pillars of the Community — Nygia Wilson & Micah Fitzgerald
Our first two PULSE @ualr Social Work interns, who believed in what we were building and became core parts of the PULSE foundation.

🏆 Clay Fitzpatrick Act of Love Award — Sonia Schaefer (@schaefer_sonia) of @boulevardbreadco
For the enormous amount of heart, labor, and love she has poured into making From Harm to Table possible for three consecutive years.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and every single person that purchased a ticket.

You didn’t just buy dinner. You bought hope. You helped fund naloxone. You helped fund street outreach. You helped fund trainning, mailing, deliveries, and the work of putting life-saving tools directly into the hands of Arkansans who need them most.

You promoted unity, life, safety, and education.

Thank you for believing in PULSE.
