“Mamãe Mandou” comes from the energy of Vidigal, the ocean, and the lived experiences of Brazilian people. Influenced by afrobeats, the song speaks about spiritual cleansing, renewal, and reconnecting through the waters of the sea as a place of healing and new beginnings.

Filmed in Vidigal, Rio de Janeiro, the music video captures everyday life in the community, childhood memories, and the strength found in Rio’s favelas. It’s an honest portrait of the people, stories, and beauty that are part of these spaces.
