Grand Canyon is one of the world's seven natural wonders.
My recommended plan if you're traveling from Phoenix would be to drive to Sedona on day 1, explore, and spend a night.
Then head to Grand Canyon on day 2, explore, spend a night, and head back to Phoenix.

The Grand Canyon has the South and North Rims. The South Rim is the most popular and accessible throughout the year. The NorthRim is more untouched and closed for certain months of the year.

If you're feeling extra hyped and want to go from South Rim to North Rim, it's at least 4 hours of driving. I wasn't that hyped 🤣.

Anyway, I had the best time and wouldn't trade experiencing this for the world.
This was a chill experience, no ziplining or blood rushing activities, but very thrilling in a chill way.

Would this make it to your bucket list?

I spent a day in Sedona, and it was the most gorgeous time.

I discovered the @guidealong app, and it was the perfect tour guide for the drive to Sedona and beyond.

Spent a night at @sedonahilltopinn in Uptown Sedona, and it was a perfect location for a first-time visitor like me.

Best place to eat- any of the Dahl Restaurant Chains. I had the best dinner at @mariposa_sedona

If you love hiking, Sedona is one of the top hikers' destinations in the West.

Let me know what you'd like to know about visiting Sedona.

48 hours in Houston, Texas, borrow my itinerary!

Day 1- Visit the NASA center. Once at the center, you'll need a decent 5 or 6 hours to get a glance at everything the center has to offer.
I'll recommend getting there as the center opens (10 am) and get on the tram to the rocket center as your first activity. If you leave it for later, the lines get really long, and the hanger gets very crowded.
If you want a peak at the mission control center, you'll need to prebook at least a week in advance.

I bought a tour on @getyourguide, which combined a visit to NASA with a drive around a tour of downtown Houston. And it was a perfect decision.

Houston is a culinary haven, so after your tour, tantalize your taste buds and head home.
If you're not too tired, go out to a bar later for drinks. You'd likely see some cowboys or cowgirls😉😉😉

This is especially perfect for my girlies with limited PTOs. Lots of fun can be packed into a couple of days.

Honestly… I still can’t fully comprehend and articulate everything I recently experienced @womanevolve conference with @sarahjakesroberts @dranitaphillips @naomiraine etc… I’m still processing!! But like @bishoptdjakes said “When God releases you, it’s not going to go back to the way it was.” I am ‘FORMING’ and can’t wait to see what God does next… #selah

To wrap up my stay in this beautiful island, I paid a visit to one of the islands- the prison island which served as a prison for rebellious slaves back in the day.

And after hearing again about such a sordid piece of history, it was only right that I ended the day in my happy place- where the skies meet the ocean!

Ever swam with the turtles?

This was such a fun experience. It's one of those things I'm happy I did, but not sure I'd go back for a second round.

This sanctuary -Baraka Aqauarium and Zoo- is well maintained. I was happy with how clean the surroundings were and how orderly they were with processing visitors.
The 🐢 are all bred and cared for at the sanctuary. The oldest turtles they had was about 50years I think and the youngest about a couple months old.

And the girl continues on her adventures!
