fear of failure:
when we’re little kids learning to talk, walk etc for the first time, we don’t fall down and think “oh this isn’t for me”. we fall down, and get right back up again. we do this countless times until we eventually learn how to walk and we graduate to other forms of movement like jumping and running. our fear of messing up one time never gets in the way of us persisting and trying again. so why then, are our adult lives so different from this? if we approached every situation this way instead of fearfully, imagine all of the greatness we would accomplish.
what is your fear holding you back from?

happy day-after-earth day (technically also earth day as every day is earth day). the day where everyone can go back to living their lives “normally” because they forgot all about the true meaning of earth day
now I can address some things.
first of all, everyone says “every day is earth day” but ask yourself if you’re truly acting that way, are you acting as if every day is earth day?
second, any steps taken, no matter how small are important and should be applauded.
that being said (third point) that these smaller things we do, like not using a straw are great, but they are not even close to being near enough to what we have to do to save our earth and ourselves. congratulate yourself for what you’ve done, then ask yourself what more you can do.
can you refuse single-use plastics everywhere by carrying a jar, utensil set or reusable bottle? can you compost? can you go one day a week (or more, vegetarian, vegan) a week? there are so many more things, feel free to DM me or simply google simple ways to increase sustainability.
just remember that there is so much work that we all (myself included) have to do if we want to truly make an impact and preserve what we can of our beautiful earth.
peace and love everyone🌿

When your daughter says, “come to Atlanta for Easter but don’t forget to bring hot cross buns, snappers, and guava duff for Good Friday!”

The red sedan chair in the photo is often used as part of our traditional Chinese wedding in the past to bring the bride to the groom. It is usually carried by four men with the bride sitting inside comfortably.
Thanks Manfred and Anna for the gifts. And Jeff for singing along with me.
Our Friend, Walter took a photo of me putting bamboo hat on my head. He even made a video for us!
It was really nice bringing this small group around yesterday. I had a lot of fun! Till next time!
