FROM PILOT PHASE TO NATIONAL IMPACT: EMPOWERING 10,000 LEARNERS THROUGH STEM, ROBOTICS & AI!

The future of education is here, and we are taking bold steps to make it accessible to more Nigerian students!

Through our collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education @nig.education , AfriEdutech City is advancing inclusive, practical technology education across Federal Government Colleges and Federal Unity Schools nationwide.

At our pilot launch at Federal Government College, Ijanikin, @adetolaariyikesalau , Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Education on STEM and Corporate Affairs, emphasised the importance of integrating STEM and Artificial Intelligence into schools to prepare learners for the future.

50 learners. 4 weeks of hands-on training. One inspiring innovation!

During the STEM, Robotics and AI pilot phase we trained 50 students, including 27 visually impaired and 23 sighted learners, who developed NAVICAP a prototype designed to address mobility challenges faced by visually impaired people.

WHAT'S NEXT? OUR VISION IS BIGGER!

We are preparing to onboard more learners, with a target of reaching 10,000 learners before the end of next quarter!

Our mission goes beyond teaching technology. We are empowering young people to become problem-solvers, innovators and creators of solutions that make a difference.

From Federal Government College, Ijanikin Lagos to other Federal Government Colleges and Unity Schools across Nigeria, we are building a future where every learner has the opportunity to innovate.

This pilot phase is just the beginning. The next chapter is national impact!

A huge thank you to @nig.education for giving us this platform to make digital skills and AI education available to all Unity Schools in Nigeria

TVOC2025 showed us that we can actually speak pidgin 🥰🤩🤩 Some struggled, some spoke ajebuttered pidgin, some didn't know how to phrase the words without thinking first🤣🤣🤣 but it was so beautiful to see that we all had expectations and we all came for the same and different reasons.

Can you speak pidgin? 🤣
