Came for the BBQ and vibes, left with a send of this mega classic climb 😎

Super psyched to have finally got this one done after trying it twice before in some horrible conditions. Thank you @punt.lee for pointing out some alternate foot beta for the right hand move to the pinch that was game changing for me. Also, the topout of this climb during the night is definitely one of the sketchiest things I've done 😅

Shoutout to the crew this day for bringing the psyche and hosting the BBQ. You guys are all the best! 🫶

Astronomically psyched day today🥹🔥

Gorgeous day, pulling hard with da legends, seeing ma precious angel send her proj (so freaking proud of ya baby🐢❤️) and ate solid BBQ with da psychednation...... what can I say beside I feel mad grateful and blessed to be experiencing this feeling ❤️ Y'all rock 🫶🏼✨️🌌

As for the climb I'm not sure if this one saw any repeats since post break back in 2021 (I might be the first one) but this line is a banger and now is back to life 🌟 If ya by X boulder definitely worth pulling on this meglodon 😎🤙🏼 On a side note only 2 more lines left to complete this boulder and punt to complete punt boulder!✨️Lets see if we can bag them all this fall 🕺🌌

On that note nothing but love and psych for this magical community and da best sport called climbing ❤️

From Coals and Ashes V11/8a ✅️

Little send train with @matthew_conlin on this one to secure the double double right after sending Karasu! Super psyched to tick it down in 3 attempts after giving the linkup only one attempt previously. This day felt unreal 🤯

When it comes to the difficulty/grade of coals, I still find the Meta link into Phoenix physically more difficult than the Karasu link, but I decided to go with the current consensus of v11 as v12 is still an unfamiliar grade for me and I don't think I have a proper say in that 🤷‍♂️

Phoenix from the Ashes and Meta low is all that's left now. Time to finish off the cave by the end of the year 😈

Karasu V12/8a+ ✅️

If you told me at the start of this year that I'd be sending v12 outdoors, I'd say you were full of sh*t 😅

This year has truly been unbelievable in so many ways, and it's crazy to think that there is still half the year to go. From having not even sent a v10 at the start of the year, dealing with several finger and knee injuries, to now having sent not only my first v12 but also a plentiful amount of other double digits. It just all feels like a dream to me still... 🫨

When it comes to Karasu itself, it was the most mentally challenging boulder I've done thus far. I remember sticking the first move which is notoriously the crux for many on my third try, and making quick links into the end of Phoenix. However, I then ran into a mental block that I couldn't break through for a few sessions, and I started losing the psyche to finish off the boulder. After taking a break from the climb for a bit to try some other climbs I was psyched on, I came back and spent another two sessions solely dialing my micro beta on Phoenix, and the psyche to send before training season came back 🔥

Ended up doing it on my first burn of the day this session in some prime post-rain conditions, officially concluding my time with Karasu ✌️To make things even more special, this wasn't the only send of the day. All I can say is 6 lines done in the cave, 2 lines left to go 😤

I want to thank everyone that has supported throughout the sessions, everyone who replied to the story progress updates, and all the homies back at the gym. It would be impossible to shout everyone out, but you know who you are, and just know you are the reason that this year has been this insane so far. I also want to thank the crew on this day for the unbelievable psyche and support 🫶 truly a blessing climbing with you guys: @nat.monkey @matthew_conlin @ethan_r_butler

Val-David 2026 🌌

The forest is a magical place...

Spent the past weekend bouldering in Val-David with the people I love and it was truly an amazing experience. I came into the trip with no expectations other than enjoying my time with friends, and came out with not only a bunch of core memories, but also a tick list I was very satisfied with! 😊

Slapping the Belly of a Whale V10/7c+ ✅️

Spent the past weekend out bouldering in Val-David for the first time and it was super refreshing hopping on some new blocs. Had a little peaceful solo night session working this one while the group split off to work on another boulder.

I stuck the first move on my second go but kept falling off of the v6 middle section, and shredded my skin pretty bad due to the super textured granite. Had to fight hard for the send but ended up finding beta that worked for myself. Super psyched to tick this one down quick!

Seep vs The Army of Darkness V10/7c+ ✅️

One of the most unique boulders at the Glen in terms of appearance and style, and definitely one of my favourite climbs I've done at the Glen so far. The climb notoriously seeps all the time (go figure by the name 😂), but was finally dry this past weekend, so I knew I wanted to hop on it for the first time and try to tick it down!

Came just short on Saturday, but was so determined to finish it off that I came back on Sunday and did it twice back to back because I forgot to record the initial send 😅

Rodeo Clown Sit V10/7c+ ✅️

Had to fight hard for this one! An additional 2 hands moves and foot walk sequence into the stand start position really made the paddle dyno feel a lot harder to set up and generate for. Still super glad to tick it down relatively fast in 2 sessions or 10 total attempts!

Shoutout to everyone supporting during the send, really brought the energy up for this one! On another note, I really want to visit Seppuku and Seep when they are both dry and tick them off, so praying for good condis later this week 🙏
