✨ Some evenings remind you why you started this journey in the first place. 🤍 On September 24, I had the pleasure of attending OPEN HOUSE: An Evening of Coastal Luxury at the beautiful San Benito House in Half Moon Bay, hosted by Cassandra McClure, editor of Clean Living Magazine. And honestly, it was one of those evenings that made me stop, take a breath, and appreciate how beautiful it is when the right people come together. From live Spanish guitar by Mike McCall and live painting by Ali Hall to delicious coastal bites, signature margaritas, and meaningful conversations, every little detail made the evening feel special. 🌊 We explored the newly renovated suites, discovered beautiful local makers like La Source and Kavacha Fine Jewelry, and experienced the calming world of aromatherapy and meditation by Maison Palo Santo. But my favorite part? The people. The conversations. The connections. As a founder, I’m always reminded that building a business is about so much more than products and sales. It’s about the people you meet, the stories you share, and the community you build along the way. 🌿 I’m so proud to represent OYU Botanica, a B Corp-certified skincare brand inspired by Mongolian botanical traditions, sustainability, and the beauty of nature. When I first met Kiara, I didn’t even know she was Miss California. She had reached out to me about interning, and from the moment she walked into my life, I knew there was something incredibly special about her. She was one of the best assistants I’ve ever had at one of my events. She was like an angel. 🤍 Kiara would talk to me about her dreams, school, her friends and her family. She never complained. She led with grace, was incredibly professional, and was simply a delight to be around. She never asked for anything in return. And she showed up for me—again and again. At my home. At my retreats. In my dm’s when I needed someone to talk to.. We were talking just yesterday. Last week, we shared a beautiful, transformative experience at Founder House—on the beach and at the San Benito House and now I’m incredibly grateful we captured these photos together ♥️ … she was supposed to be joining us for Car Week in just a few days. I see so much of myself in Kiara. She has connected me with so many incredible women and is a true cheerleader for others. She gives so much of herself to the people around her. It’s hard to comprehend how life can change in an instant. 💔 Now, we all need to come together for kiarascuro and @mscaliforniario. Kiara was involved in a tragic accident while walking a friend’s dog and is now fighting for her life. Her family has shared that she has suffered multiple facial fractures, a brain bleed and internal bleeding, and has already undergone several surgeries. Please keep Kiara, her family, and everyone impacted by this tragedy in your prayers. 🙏❤️ Kiara, we love you. We’re standing with you.
