Tony is a modern Italian restaurant in the spirit of the Italian mafia, built on client references to The Godfather and The Sopranos. We decided to build a whole mythology around the brand.

From those references, we drew two elements: the image of a single powerful figure around whom the narrative revolves, and the tension between family loyalty and the mafia’s selective ethics — stay close to «family» and you’re untouchable, fall out of favor and the consequences are permanent. That tension runs through everything: lavish interiors set against a backdrop of quiet unease, white napkins included.

At the center of the concept is Tony — founder and head chef of the restaurant. A mysterious figure, both respected and feared. His presence is felt through details: a business card bearing only a phone number and the words «Call Tony,» white lace napkins, deer scattering in fright printed on the paper inside pizza boxes, illustrations drawn in soot, as if sketched by Tony himself.

During our research, we came across a real mafia organization called «The Black Hand,» with its own distinctive symbol — which became the basis for the restaurant’s logo. A second variant is a signet ring bearing the letter T, a seal of quality from Tony. We also drew inspiration from actual threatening letters written by Italian mafia members — their childlike, naive style paired with anything-but-innocent messages found its way into Tony’s running club merch and into the menu, typed on a typewriter and marked with corrections.

@vavylon.media is a magazine built around twelve ways of sensing and reading the world: touch, sound, color, scent, composition, energy, time, idea, motion, taste, point, and light.

The name leads us back to Babylon, one of the key cultures where language, writing, astronomy, and symbolic systems began to merge into a way of understanding the world.

The identity research started with Babylonian culture and moved further back through Babylonian language — a dialect of Akkadian — to cuneiform writing, adopted from the older Sumerian civilization. One of the most important signs in this chain is the Sumerian cuneiform sign dingir, meaning “god” or “heaven.” In its early form, it was connected to an eight-pointed star, a symbol where the celestial and the divine meet.

This became the starting point for Vavylon’s visual language: a system built around signs, cycles, and interpretation.

The final logo transforms the magazine’s twelve themes into a circular structure. The numbers are arranged not as a decorative clock, but as a celestial cycle. The count begins from the winter solstice point — the 12 on the circle — where the full cycle symbolically starts, marking the completion and beginning of the circle at the same time.

It’s the kind of offer you don’t think twice about: creating an identity for a Swiss aerospace company that builds autonomous, hydrogen-powered aircraft — wow! We were so excited to take on this challenge.

Destinus is a modern European company with a global team of professionals driving breakthrough technologies — from subsonic drones to the hypersonic flight.

Our task was to translate the company’s groundbreaking innovations into a compelling visual language. CREVV crafted a visual system inspired by signals and engineering code. The logotype was tuned from Helvetica — a Swiss type classic — to underline the company’s origin and engineering precision. The identity includes a system of logotypes for different business directions, a visual style for photography and renders, rich infographics and schematics. Linear animated graphics, generated from the sound of a supersonic turbine, are used across communications and the website.

In 2020 CREVV rebranded @kachorovska_atelier and in 2024 reconnected, this time for a long-term collaboration. The main request was to implement brand elements into all manifestations of the brand. New meanings emerge, and a cohesive brand identity takes shape during our interaction.

🦆 The main symbol broadcasting Kachorovska’s heritage is the duck. We worked to integrate various bird attributes into the brand. One of the decisions was to use the duck's footprint to show the connection to shoe production. Material textures, finishes, feathers, and knots are all parts of the brand's one big picture.

We enjoy the format of close collaboration with the founder and primary visionary of the brand, as well as with specialists working on the design of bags, shoes, and clothing. This is our favorite collaboration format—when a team is formed of people who directly influence the brand and are deeply involved in its creation, where everyone is invested in the outcome and passionate about the project.

Thanks to the amazing design bureau team at Kachorovska for the experience and fruitful cooperation 💙🪡

Stay tuned!

@drinkheabit is a new word in the wellness category. Based on scientific research, it’s a balanced and easy-to-use complex of vitamins, minerals, beneficial bacteria and superfoods in a convenient daily drink format.

But first and foremost, Heabit is a new healthy habit. A +1 reason to become a better version of yourself and live a better life.

The logo — a flower-shaped dawn — is about getting better every new day, as well as about the naturalness and benefits of the drink.

The packaging stands out in bright orange, inspired by the glow of sunrise. This warm, energetic color contrasts beautifully with green products.

The massive poster typeface Trim by @lettersfromsweden on packaging and communication was chosen to turn texts into motivating statements.

@life.in.war is a project of the Public Interest Journalism Lab, launched in March 2022 in partnership with the Documenting Ukraine initiative of the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna. ©LIW

The CREVV created the identity and website for the LIW project. The logo's concept reflects the project's name, "Life in War." It represents a living inscription—sometimes difficult to read and comprehend, yet impossible to ignore. The shifting form of the logo symbolizes the ups and downs that everyone experiences in life, a contrast that becomes especially stark during times of war. The abbreviation of the project's name resembles part of a cardiogram, serving as a metaphor for life itself. Following the same design logic, a custom corporate font was developed, incorporating both Latin and Cyrillic characters. The website is designed to be simple and concise, providing a fitting backdrop for news about war and life amid it.
