I took this contract at a time when I was feeling a lot of turmoil in my life and I’m so thankful for the healing that this experience has given me and to have had the privilege to meet this wonderful group of people. F28, we are great. This journey we shared was so so special to me and I thank you. I love you. 💕

To the contract that completely changed the trajectory of my life and was paired with the most challenging life lesson I’ve ever gone through. You’ve shown me the many versions of love and grief that can exist within one person.

And to the place that’s been my home for the past 2 years, thank you for everything. You gave me people who will be in my life forever and I’m so thankful. The end of a chapter, but still a long journey ahead. Goodbye Disney Fantasy :,)

Working at sea one of the few things everybody can agree on is that there is nothing more beautiful than the horizon. The sunrises/sunsets never failed to thrill me in 3 years of ship contracts. I'd often watch the horizon and envision the sun reflecting on the waves as a golden road that I was traveling on, challenging me and encouraging me to learn and grow towards something cosmically beautiful.

The other thing everybody can agree on is that you live far too close to the people you work with. The sun will not set if you haven't seen most/all of your coworkers. You laugh together, you cry together, you quarrel and dislike each other then you get over it and build each other up. You challenge and encourage each other to learn, and grow towards something cosmically beautiful.
And that's when they become your sunshine. All at once, they are the golden road, they are your companions on the road, and they are your sunny destination.

I've been blessed with an immense amount of sunshine by all 3 of my ship casts from Royal to Disney. I am filled to the brim with their golden light, and I can't help but shine.

Dear Fantasy…
Thank you for being my home for the last 2 contracts. This has been the only other home I’ve ever known besides the one I grew up in.
Thank you for giving me people in my life who are not just my friends but are people who have become my family. Through highs and lows, they’ve shown me an immense amount of love that I am eternally grateful for. They add to my joy and my light.
There were many things I had set out wanting to accomplish this time around on the Fantasy, but for many of those things, life had a different plan. I grew in ways that I hadn’t expected and I can say I’m leaving this contract as, what feels like, a different person. I had different goals planned, but instead I ended up finding out so much about myself. Thank you Miss Fantasy for the memories that will last a lifetime, for the friendships that I will forever keep close to my heart, and for helping me discover a little bit more of me🤍

F28. We were great.

I’m sad to say goodbye to these shows. I’m sad to say goodbye to the ship.
But none of that even comes close to how sad I am to say goodbye to these people.

This contract brought so many new experiences: puppeteering, lots of understudying, living at sea, etc. I will continue puppeteering, understudying, and living at sea at points in my career, but this will always hold a special place in my heart because it was and will always be my first.

It has been such a pleasure to portray these wonderful characters, spend time with these wonderful people, and get to do so many unforgettable things. I have made best friends for life on this contract.

I am so unexplainably grateful to have had this experience with these people.
9 months felt like a moment. I could spend the rest of my life with you and never regret a moment, F28.
Keep doing amazing things. I’ll never forget you.

Farewell miss Fantasy! Thank you for being my home for the last two years. I am so grateful for each and every memory that I’ve made here, which makes leaving all that much more difficult. F28 was truly great! It has been such a gift to share this adventure with such talented human beings that I’ve completely fallen in love with and adore so much. It’s honestly a little terrifying to take a step away from the home that I’ve built and out into the big wide world. I’ve met some of my greatest friendships here. I became an adult here. It’s weird to barely know a life where I’m not on this floating home. Like a wise man once said, what we do is so fleeting. This truly isn’t a goodbye, this is just a see ya real soon!

1. I finally got my piccy with Mickey!
2. This year I got to say my big line that is a VERY big deal.
3. We hit 100 shows so incredibly fast this is a lifetime ago
4. The iconic trio remained intact (i can’t even look at this picture without tearing up)
5. Frédéric and Annalise’s blossoming romance also remained intact (honestly this makes me cry too)
6. I made new best friends
7. and tried new things
8. DJ Mirage was born
9. and Georgie became much more than just an onstage persona
10. The B.O.M.B. (big ol’ mouth brigade) was formed
11. I got to dance with darling Nelson
12. Exciting opportunities were around every corner
13. I earned my 1-year pin and also my Train The Trainer pin!
14. I got to do my favourite show with five ridiculously talented vocalists, including a reprise with my sister @mirandajodemott (you can’t tell, but we are both sobbing in this)
15. Countless boogies with the kiddos
16. Countless beach days
17. and countless fireworks
18. As much as I thought I might be able to keep it together, I cried my way through each closing
19. We saw some pretty incredible views. I’ll definitely miss travelling the world and always having a beach day to look forward to!
20. but most of all I’ll miss performing these shows alongside my best friends, there is no greater gift.
