Some lessons I learned from my time at UC:

There’s always someone willing to listen.

If you’re considering breaking up, break up.

Taking time for yourself will bring much more good in the long run than pushing yourself as far as you can go.

Free food is always available somewhere if you need it.

Keep people close to you who make your soul happy and cared for no matter what you look like or how awful you feel.

There’s always time.

And most importantly to me,
you can do whatever you want.

It’s hard to put these past 4 years into one perfectly wrapped up post, but these past 4 years haven’t always been perfect. I experienced loss, sacrifice, disappointment, and an inconceivable sadness that convinced me I would never make it.

But I also experienced love. And kindness. And grace.
I got to where I am. And I’m gonna keep going. I’m gonna keep doing what makes me happy. And it won’t be perfect, but it’ll be me.

I’m so thankful for the people and experiences that have gotten me to where I am. Good, bad, ugly and everything in between.

Bearcat strong, now and forever. ❤️🖤
