POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This Summer I hosted a reading series called Sam’s Summer Scripts. I brought together a group of my friends and we ate, drank, caught up, cast and read through four different projects I’d developed over this last year.

In July we read my Children’s Play, “The Borrowers” which is an adaptation of Mary Norton’s book of the same name. A couple weeks later we read through “The Door” my absurdist play inspired by recent politics and influencer news media.

In August we read my TV Show I’m developing called “Reruns” which is my love letter to sitcom. We read episodes 1-3 and discussed world building, the story so far, and what people thought might come next in the series.

In September, for my birthday, we read a different TV Show I’m developing called “Neon Knights”. We read episodes 1-3 and talked about the story so far and what they thought of my in-world card game, TOPOS TCG.

I cannot wait to continue to develop these scripts and share more in the future. My journey now is to work on these scripts so they’re prepared for pitches or productions. Once again I’m thankful to all my friends who took time out of their weeks to come read my ridiculous stories. Without them I’m just a madman who pounds nonsense into my keyboard only to send these scripts into the void that is my hard drive. I love you all!
