Happy Birthday to my incredible daughter. ❤️

I know I say this a lot but I am so incredibly proud of you.

This past year has been one of the hardest of your life. With a broken heart, you packed up the life you’d built in Jackson, loaded your car and Uhaul trailer, and drove across the country to begin again in New York City. That alone took extraordinary courage.

What amazes me most isn’t that everything went smoothly—it didn’t. It’s how you kept moving forward despite every obstacle.

Within days of arriving, you were teaching ceramics. You found an apartment in Brooklyn which is a huge feat. You tried multiple markets and art fairs in NYC.

Just two months later, you opened your own store. Unreal!

You built a new life from the ground up while navigating uncertainty, financial stress, heartbreak, concern for Loki, and all the emotions that come with starting over.

This year wasn’t defined by ease. It was defined by growth.

I’ve watched you become braver, stronger, more resilient, with a new level of belief in yourself. You’ve shown me what it looks like to trust your own path, even when you can’t yet see where it leads.

My birthday wishes. I wish for your beloved Lolo to be healthy and by your side for a long time to come. I wish for your business to flourish. I wish for clarity about what the next chapter looks like. And more than anything, I wish for ease. May this be the year that brings more joy than struggle, more laughter than worry, and the knowing that life is unfolding exactly as it should.

I love you beyond words, and I couldn’t be more proud to be your mom.

Happy Birthday, my sweetpea girl. 🥳✨💖

New pottery in the store available to shop now. The clay has been matching my energy recently. The spike cups are dual purposed, drinking vessel and medieval self defense device

Après expectations are forever skewed, international schlepping of a ski bag offers unexpected character building ✨and Austria is storybook land!!!!! 🇦🇹🤍❤️ So so grateful I’m passable at a sport I enjoy (most of the time) that allows me to explore beautiful places, spend quality time with friends and expand my confidence of what I can do⛷️. Munich was a beautiful dose of city time the 40 hours I was there lol!

Breakups suck. But you know what doesn’t suck? Being on the river. A few highlights of summer 2025 so far, starring a boat named Wild Blue.

Springtime!!! Layers start to lighten, Vitamin D levels increase lol, best friend’s come to visit, patios and decks are of use again, summer schedules start to iron out and skiing gets slightly sillier ☀️🙏

Winter!!! With a lil winter reprieve in California :) This southerner might be preferring this season…jk…but I love it. I love the people in my life that deliver the sunshine to the early dark days. I love how much skiing has increased my confidence off the slopes. I love the silence of the snow and the celebrated slow down of life 🙏
