Happy birthday to my darling Bodhi Bear. How are you now 7?! 🥹❤️

You arrived into this world looking like a shrivelled 87-year-old worm 😂 and my goodness, have you turned into the most caring, kind, compassionate, creative, clever, handsome, toothless and wonderfully quirky soul.

Music has always been your first passion. From 6 months old, you would wake up singing. When you were 3, we went to Fiji, where the Fijian choir moved you to tears. You held your little heart as you listened. 🥹 You feel things so deeply, and your heart is so big. You see the world in songs and it’s so blooming special.

You still dance like Mick Jagger, sing allllllllll day long, are obsessed with your new DJ kit, and recently did your first drama camp and declared it was “the best week of your life” 😂

You were born to shine… and more importantly, you shine from the inside out.

You’re thoughtful, sensitive, compassionate and the most incredible big brother. Summer and Kai Kai absolutely adore you, and watching the three of you together is hands down my favourite life achievement. Your love for each other is beyond special.

I’m so proud of the person you are and feel so lucky that I get to watch you grow into whoever you’re meant to be.

Never stop singing, dancing, dreaming big and being your wonderfully quirky self.

We love you more than words, Bodhi Bear. ❤️🥹.

8 photographers (and a baby) take a weekend away 📸

We all found each other through photography, but somewhere along the way it turned into real friendship. This crew gets it, the late nights editing, the mum guilt, the chaos of running a small business.

We escaped for a weekend of good food, wine, long chats and a bit of photography (some work snuck in too, we can’t help ourselves). Mostly we just chilled.

Thankful for this group of legends.

Annual work retreat - we all arrived burnt out and we all left feeling refreshed and reenergized.

A weekend spent taking photos, swapping tips, editing images plus a whole lotta laughs (& a gorgeous bub for good measure)!

Thank god for these wonderful women, always inspiring, always hilarious, always full of good advice.

Yamba 🙌

Sun, rain, wind, wine, fishing, surfing, bowling, dance parties, birthdays, footy, cocktails, rock jumping, bike rides & more.. You name it, we crammed it into 7 days.

A shout out to the best babysitter of the trip, The Jumping Pillow - we didn’t see the kids for days on end. (Oh & Shiloh did actually survive the trip without breaking a bone or her back, despite what the video might suggest!).

We cannot wait to do it all again soon 🫶

When you reach the 6 month mark post birth and feel like you disappeared into a cave and never returned...

When you thought you were going to hibernate but actually you were entering a tunnel. One with an exit far on the other side.

When you wanted to run and hide and melt away too many times, but instead you breathed.

When you wished things were lighter, but the heaviness had a purpose.

When you snapped moments like these that were equal parts delight and destruction.

When your soul was bursting wide open whilst your eyelids were heavy and closing.

When your body ached for cuddles whilst longing to be left alone.

When you prepared for postpartum but forgot to prepare for life.

When you surrendered and felt relief, and when you clung and hardened.

When you Goddess-ed your way through proud Mama moments, meltdowns, meals and more.

When you saw your light and honoured it.

When you hugged and didn't want to let go.

When your future flashed before your eyes but then you had to pick up the snotty tissues, boil pasta one handed and breathe through another storm.

When your heart aches for the very moment in front of you but your mind has stolen it away into endless To Dos.

When you catch a moment before bedtime to let you pen lead the way and somehow, somehow amongst it all you lead yourself back to you.

Where you've always been.
