guatemala lately

I went into this trip not knowing what to expect, and I’m leaving with a new understanding of myself and the world around me. This week reminded me how much we take for granted, especially access to healthcare. Clean water, a toothbrush, medical care, these are privileges, not guarantees. I was surrounded by the happiest and most kind people. I was deeply moved by their stories. Guatemala changed the way I see the healthcare system, and reinforced my belief that access to it should be a human right. 🇬🇹🤍🩺
