my love letter to dance 🤍
performing for my last ever dance recital with TDC has shown to me what a blessing dance has provided me. no matter where i was at any point of my life, i always had dance. it has been a part of me since i was very little. i cannot stress enough how grateful and thankful i am for it. I wouldn’t be who I am today without it. ive gone through many different styles, performances, and teams, but i’ve loved all equally.

thank you to TDC, for giving me such an amazing dance family. i will always hold yall in my heart. thank you for always supporting me, creating great memories, and pushing me to my potential. thank you to tabatha, natalie, and ashlyn for being such wonderful teachers!

although I am uncertain if I will continue on with dance again, i will always carry the lessons, responsibility, and memories with me. thank you to everyone who has been by my side and cheered me on.

love, lily 💌

Wow! What a week!🤩

Last night wrapped up the Miss Arkansas Teen pageant. @miss_annahorner finished in the Top 15, won the Overall Alpha Fitness Scholarship, and was also the Overall Fitness Scholarship Winner. Since she made the Top 15, Jennings and Aynslea got to walk with her on the evening gown portion again. We are so very proud of her accomplishments which are amazing considering it was her first time doing this pageant. Anna is so smart, beautiful, and kind so it’s no surprise that she shined this week.

I told another Diamond mom when she was bragging on Anna, “My favorite part has been even though it’s HER week, she made it a point to see our girls every day. She always greets Jennings with a hug, picking her up and twirling her around… Just like she would at the gym or in the locker room back home. She wasn’t “too busy” or “too good” to share some laughs and fun.” THAT is just who she is at her core!🥹

Thank you, Anna & Horner fam, for including Jennings. She had a blast and cried not wanting to go home. Jennings made so many new friends, including Anna’s other diamond Aynslea, who was like a big sister to her all week.🥰 Not to mention, it was super fun for this momma who has grown up watching Miss America and attending Miss Arkansas for many years to support friends back in her college days. This will forever be a core memory for our family!🤍💎👑

Also, thank you to my mom for coming with us all week to help me with Jennings! We couldn’t have done it without her. Meanwhile, my dad was at home with Davis for 6 days making sure he was taken care of, too. And we appreciate all of our family for coming to watch our girl multiple days and supporting her!!🫶🏼

After 14 years I have decided it is officially time to hang up my dancing shoes. I am so grateful for everything dance gave me. I am especially grateful for my one year at @astatespirit for teaching me so many lessons I can’t even recall them all. That being said I decided that this year it is time to finally focus on school and I couldn’t be more excited to start PTA school at Arkansas State this Summer. Thank you to everyone I met along the way I couldn’t have chosen a better sport to do through my whole life.
