This is a true story! I saw the post about the family hating the fireworks on a "I love Windermere" page and it made me think...... I always see how much people love the fireworks. However, there are a lot of families that are just not into that. And honestly, I don't blame them. At 8:00 pm I want my kids in bed. What do you guys think, yes or no?

I learned this the hard way (pun intended) so you don’t have to. 🤕👇 After 16+ years of Disney World planning and vacationing, I thought I’d seen it all. Then, one year, this happened to me on our first day. So here’s my best Disney resort tip advice for you. After we checked in and had dinner, we went to the pool to relax. Came back up to the room and I went into the bathroom to hang all our bathing suits to dry. I turned around quickly to go back to the room and walked FULL FORCE into the corner of the door that had silently drifted halfway closed. True story, I got the pictures to prove it. It was painful, frustrating, and a stark reminder that a vacation emergency can happen to anyone, anywhere, in a split second. Even Disney vacation mishaps happen without warning. My advice - pack a door stop since it takes up zero space in your suitcase but saves a ton of headaches (literally!). Now, I never step foot in a Disney or Universal Studios resort without a $2 rubber doorstop. 🚪 Here is why you need one in your suitcase: 🔐 Safety: Disney hotel doors are heavy and slam shut fast. Definitely a great toddler travel hack - a doorstop protects toddlers’ fingers and saves you from a concussion while loading luggage (or hanging bathing suits!). 🤫 Bonus: Put it under your entry door as added security for when you are in the room or sleeping. My sweet friend drew this picture of me with baby Jesse ringing the bell at the clinic. We prayed over the picture after she drew it and literally minutes later an NC news station called me back to do an interview to help raise funds for my treatment. God is in the details! I want to share some stats to really show how God good truly is. I know this is not the case for many and it doesn’t mean God is not good to them. We will never know why until we are on the other side of heaven. He is still faithful no matter the outcome bc of who HE is. On May 15th when I showed up in AZ I could barely hold Jesse on my left hip. I was in pain! It came on suddenly at the beginning of the year and kept getting worse. I had a pain in the middle of my back and had no clue what was going on or that it could be related. Both pains are gone and show no activity on the recent scan. It had metastasized to my pelvis, ribs, abdomen, lympth nodes, liver, spine and even a spot on my skull. 😬🙈😩 After my first pet scan at the end of May I was sick about it and had thoughts that I’m a goner especially with the statistics. But God! All metastatic spots are showing inactive! We are still waiting on the final review with the radiologist. (See my stories for the before and after pet scan) My tumor marker numbers were in the 100’s when I got to AZ, now it’s at 16. The normal range is between 0-38. I did not feel good when I got here and today overall I feel great! When my stepmom arrived months ago she was scared at how I looked. I feel alive again and full of life! The clinic I am at is called Envita Medical Centers. They specialize in stage 4 cancers and work miracles! As soon as you walk in this place you feel the presence of God! This is a special place and truly doing the work of God with healing people. Everyone I have met has said that God sent them there. It’s so beautiful to hear all the stories of healing and watch God in action. Only he can take what looks impossible and make it possible!
