Why is it - as mums - you always have this feeling of never doing enough for our kids?!! 🙈🙈

My kids are seeing their mum build a business from the ground up. I mean, this time last year, I had only a dream. Now? I have warehouses in Belfast and Bangor, constant access to 2 vans plus a big lorry, enough inventory to keep a small village going and 4 movers - and I STILL manage to make it to school pick-up most days 🥰🥰

And yet, I'm still sitting here thinking, should I have got the youngest a tutor for his Transfer Test? 🤔🤔🤔

The results are in 🥳🥳🥳 and 94% of people voted to see ALL my day-to-day stuff 📢📢 so I'm bringing you BTS to everything from now on... meetings with the builder👷‍♂️ fixing random problems with my lovely painters 🎨 and of course all the beautiful staging that we create with my 4 movers 🏡🪴

It's going to be so much fun 🥰🥰

Right now though, I'm off to meet my "baby's" P7 teacher to see how he's getting on for the forthcoming Transfer Test... wish me luck 🙈🙈

Are you just here for the pretty staging photos and home styling inspo (which is totally fine), or would you like to come along with me to see all my random shenanigans (it's fun, I promise 😄😄)

We're over half-way!! 🥳🥳 Week 4 was such an educational session on working "on" the business, as opposed to "in" the business - which we all love doing - well that's why we started our wee businesses, right? 🏡🪴

So in the morning, Anne @morrliving_anne kindly helped us prioritise our strategies to sustain a healthy pipeline, and we took away a big folder full of homework to continue all the great work 📈

The afternoon session by Sharron @mollyandmecandles🕯was so insightful, where we considered our branding, our pricing, our market positioning, and honestly, I have a lot to think about! But I do have some gorgeous gifted wax melts to burn whilst I work through everything, so I'm feeling very grateful 💕

I definitely need to:
START - Expanding my network 👋🏼
DO MORE - Ring-fence dedicated diary time for admin
DO LESS - Procrastination!!! 🙃
STOP - Feeling so guilty about "me" time 🏋‍♀️

Thanks so much to @mumsatworkni and @tnlcommunityfund for all the wonderful training every week. I can't believe how fast the weeks are flying in 🙈🙈

If anyone would like to find out more about my wee business, or just make a new connection over a coffee, reach out and let's connect 👋🏼

The @mumsatworkni is not just an amazing network to support female entrepreneurs, it is a group of selfless ladies who promote and empower each other. The excellent’Elevate to Great’ lottery funded female entrepreneurship series of workshops was devised by the committee to provide the skills to develop and grow businesses.

When the women come together they bond, share, laugh and support each others. Strangers in a room on day one. Long term friends and supporters by week six. They want to see, not just themselves, but their fellow attendees, do well. They collaborate, where possible; pass on potential contacts; buy from each other. And it’s all done so naturally, no pushiness just a desire to see others flourish. This network is a truly supportive network.

On a personal level, facilitating with this group introduces what I do and opens up my possibilities to grow. It’s a win win, a days work that doesn’t even feel like work. I met a bunch of inspiring ladies yesterday and I’m looking forward to meeting the Mid Ulster and Derry groups in 2027.

You don’t always need to start everything from scratch!! 👋🏼 Sometimes, reviewing what you have to check it still meets your needs is enough - and when we reviewed websites with @patriciagreeneweb I realised how hard my website is working for us 💪🏼💪🏼

So what do I need to do? Figure out email marketing! 🙈🙈 At one point in my career, I was responsible for emailing 60,000 people regularly, but that's when I had a whole team assisting me! Now, I'm the CEO 🎩 the Financial Director 🎩 the Head of Customer Service 🎩 and the Marketing Executive! 🎩

Thanks so much to @mumsatworkni and @tnlcommunityfund for all the wonderful training every week. Us ladies are getting stronger 👌🏽

Check out my website and tell me what you think 😊

The awful thing about going on a workshop you've done before is 🫣 you realise how much you missed the first time around!!! I picked up so much more from Niamh @purpledotvideos 🎥 this time round (not forgetting the obligatory wagon wheels lol!!) 🍩🍩

And was totally blown away with info from @ruthlessmediani with Meta ads - I did not realise there were soooooo many possibilities! 🤩🤩

Thanks so much to @mumsatworkni and @tnlcommunityfund for all the wonderful training every week. As they say, you don't know what you don't know, and I'm slowly realising there's still sooooo much to learn 🫡

Exciting times ahead!! 😍😍

Feeling incredibly encouraged 🤩 and so excited for what lies ahead!! That's week 1 of the @mumsatworkni "Elevate to Great" course done ✅️ and I learnt so much!

Week 1: was all about "AI & Business Automation" with the fabulous @tinabelfast and it was great to catch up with Tina after so long! The 4th industrial revolution is most certainly here guys, and we need to embrace the digital transformation... just to keep up! 👋🏼

And the best part was meeting so many fabulous entrepreneural ladies, all in the same boat 🥰

Roll on week 2!! 😃
