Less rushing, more noticing.
The way the light hits the leaves, the sound of the wind, the stillness in it all.

Grateful for the places that ground me,
the air that fills me,
and the Earth that holds me. 🌿

Happy Earth Day 🌍

You’ve been listening to all of the podcasts, your IG feed has more health experts than you have friends, yet you still don’t have a gut health action plan?
I see you and this is the chat for you.

Come have an honest conversation with me and Natasha Cook CNP about what’s working, what’s trending, and what we should focus our energy on.

Natasha is a friend and a holistic nutritionist, mom and entrepreneur that helps women cut through the chatter on gut health and hormones so they can get real results.

During this chat, we’ll go deeper into the social media headlines we’ve been seeing and provide clarity on things like:

❓How does gut health really impact our hormones?
❓Is eating more protein really going to solve all of my problems?
❓What is the estrobolome?
❓and, most importantly, what should I actually spend my time on?

Join us inside the Held Session community for midlife women and save your spot for free. Join live to ask questions and get answers on the spot or drop your questions in our community chat and Natasha can answer the on the call.

My cycle syncing app told me today is a great day to reflect on wins, so I’m listening.🙏🏼

2025 was challenging to say the least but I’m choosing to look at some of its bright sides for every month nonetheless ✨🫀

Here are some 2025 wins for every month:

- 1/January: got a really nice metabolic balance review from a client @metabolic_balance_with_deb @metabolicbalance_can_usa
-2/February: spent some quality time wit my fur Bebe while I still could 🐈‍⬛🪽
-3/March: ran a Corporate Wellness women’s day event that was very well received and so fun
- 4/April: discovered the oasis that is @trovewellbeing
- 5/May: had a fun day shooting content with @michelecrockettphotography @andshemoves
- 6/June: got to discover the beauty that Vancouver, BC holds and caught this fun @downtonabbey_official flower exhibit at the botanical gardens on its very last day
- 7/July: saw my favourite band live @coldplay
- 8/August: got to put up a Display and business cards at the Toronto cardiac clinic 🫀✨
- 9/September: CHFA @cahealthfood with fellow nutritionists 💗
- 10/October: NYC reunion trip with dad‘s gotta take the cake
-11/November: a friend making a whole menu for me during my visit made me feel very taken care of 🥹
- 12/December: a lovely surprise from my friends at @orangenaturals

If you’ve found 2025 to be a doozie also, highly recommend doing this exercise:

Go through your camera roll month by month and note the glimmers that you find in every month. This helps us appreciate the good things that happened and gets us ready to call in more of that goodness in 2026!

Here‘s to more of the good stuff in 2026!✨🙏🏼🫀🫶🏼🥂🍾

Natasha’s Gut Reset is here

A structured, evidence-informed program designed to uncover why gut symptoms, inflammation, skin concerns, or food reactions may be showing up — not just how to manage them.

Using the GI-MAP stool test, this program looks at digestion, gut bacteria balance, immune activity, and gut barrier health, then pairs those findings with a clear, personalized protocol and supportive lifestyle guidance.

There’s also an optional 3-month group experience for deeper education on digestion, nervous system support, hormone–gut connections, and everyday environmental factors that can quietly impact gut health.

For those who want clarity, context, and a plan — not guesswork.

✨ Sunday Meal Prep Inspiration ✨

Start your week feeling organized and nourished with these Banana Oat Carrot Muffins by our amazing graduate, Natasha @natashacook.co! 🍌🥕

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 banana
1 egg
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
1 cup grated carrot
1 1/3 cups gluten-free oats (oats are naturally gluten-free, but cross-contamination can occur during processing, so look for “certified GF” on the packaging)
1 serving protein powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder

This gluten-free, protein packed recipe is easy to make and customizable. Add pumpkin seeds, raisins, or dates for extra texture and flavour to suit your taste! 😋

Unwinding, de stressing and figuring out what triggers your parasympathetic nervous response is key in gut health. Stress doesn’t just affect your mind- it can take a big toll your digestive system too.

Did you take some time to unwind this weekend?

Learning to listen to my body’s natural rhythms has been a total game changer for me and my health.

As women we have monthly cycles but also daily circadian and even circannual rhythms.

These rhythms govern the release of hormones that control our mood, appetite, sleep, sex drive, energy production, fat storage and more.

I’m not a big fan of the idea of HACKING our bodies but knowing when and how these rhythms work is the best way to OPTIMIZE our mood, energy, hormones, metabolism etc.

Join me and @natashacook.co September 16 when we kick off Well Being Foundations and learn to master your rhythms with us!
